Holy episode, there is so much I want to unpack here.
First, I find it very ironic that I was literally just praising Parrot for not drafting his entire civilian population into a standing army yesterday, and then this video comes out.
Technically most of these players are in factions that were already fighting, so there is that. But oh the way Parrot got all of them to work with him? It has me reeling bc it shows how short sighted he his.
Parrots aim is to raise an army and get them supplies. Two goals, easier said than done of course, but it's the way he does it. Parrot literally kidnaps the leader of a faction, holds him hostage, and is fully willing to kill him in order to get people to fight for him, which is a HORRIBLE idea if you know anything about history or common sense, and Parrot is very lucky that the Merchant City leader wasn't well liked.
Blowing up half the Law faction better come back to haunt Parrot, and I hope Flame gets upset about it bc those were his allies who built him his amazing base. And it was also the fact Parrot preemptively put the TNT under that entrance. Like he was going to blow them up no matter what, which is just- horrifying. He's so willing to kill his enemies if they aren't willing to turn to his side. Reminds us of a certain sheriff no?
I really hope there is someone out there willing to server consequences on a silver platter, bc Parrot cannot just get away with killing all those players like that.
HI CLOWN HI CLOWN OMG OMG GUYS ITS CLOWN YESSSSSSSS
I cheered when Parrot announced he was going to the nether, likes YES, YES SHOW US THE JESTER MAN!! LET US SEE THE JESTER MAN!!
I love how Parrot and Clown will forever be foils to each other. Parrot's a much better person than Clown is, but Clown is a good king, he understands that if he holds the resources, he holds the power, and that allows him to keep everyone out the nether via fear. And his line to Parrot about him being more jester than king, even more so Clown bc he's only ever in it for the entertainment- oh that's going to have me writing an analysis. About time I psycho analyze the bird and clown.
Anyways, I also wanna point something out about Theo, bc I've noticed how panicked he's been recently, and at first I was confused, until I realized Theo was mostly fine until he realized Billy was in the impending attack, and then he just spiraled and panicked. Like holy, Theo is out of it, he's been out of it ever since Billy first appeared, and he still hasn't recovered from seeing his former mentor. Theo's a mess and Parrot is yet to realize it, on top of not telling Theo any of his plans. Trust is good, but blind trust will only get you so far.
Speaking of Theo, Reina killing the full netherite guy in the beginning was so freaking cool, I was so sure she was gonna freaking die. ALSO REINA POV?!? YES?!?! I am scared tho bc she's very blind faith in Parrot, and I fear she might hold him up on a pedestal and that scares me.
Giant elephant the room... FLAMEFRAGS?!?! HELLO?!?
One of my friends on discord suggested that Flame's with Cindercrest bc Law was with Cindercrest, so he was asked to go help them out, which makes a lot of sense, and he's probably looking to have a fight with Billy as well.
EVEN STILL HELLO?!? GOOD TO SEE YOU BUT HELLO??!?
This episode has an ominous vibe to it, even with the hopeful end, I feel like something is about to go very wrong very soon.
