This was the accompanying text from @KikkiPlanet, who brought this tweet from mayoral candidate Curtis Penner forward: "And with that, the #yegvote feed hits rock bottom. #Yeg Mayoral Candidate compares other candidate to Ted Bundy"
You can follow this link for the exchange related to the above tweet.
This from a guy who wants to remove flouride from our municipal water, says he's "colourblind" and thinks that racism can be eliminated by a bbq, and other nonsense.
His defense to this tweet has been "I'm not comparing him to Bundy, I'm saying don't trust the slick guy in the suit." While that's a simplistic view of the combination of attractiveness, charisma, and psychopathy that Bundy utilized to rape, torture, and kill at least 30 girls and woman over several years, it's more the lack of integrity and responsibility for his online actions that I'm concerned with. It's a false innocence- by linking to a picture of Bundy, you're comparing the candidate to a serial killer, end of story. The guy is breaking one of the first rules of social media interaction: Don't be a dick.
