Israel has been expanding control over Gaza, restricting the population into a smaller and smaller area of the strip. In mid-March, aid groups reported the IOF quietly sent maps with new lines drawn without releasing these publicly. The area between the two lines is supposed to be for coordinating movements of humanitarian groups, but Israelis have attacked Palestinian members of aid groups repeatedly, killing at least six people since mid-March.
There is no way to know where it is safe, because the IOF violates their own promises constantly. People in Gaza are terrified, including my friend Ahmed ( @ahmedaldani333 ) who is a teenager. His family is struggling with chronic food insecurity through the war. His brother is now hospitalized due to the severity of his hunger and anemia. He tells me that he fears for him, and that "my condition is also worsening, and I'm afraid the same thing will happen to me." Please donate what you can.
(Ahmed is #198 on the @gazavetters list)
