moved to wiskayok from venice italy after her father's tragic passing, her mother quickly getting remarried. her step father was nothing special, quite the opposite in fact—so she spent time away doing soccer, babysitting coach martinez' kid javi, and playing music. her saturday nights mostly consisted of doing stupid shit with mari ibarra & jackie taylor. in the spring of 1996, it all took a turn—the plane crash on the way to nationals had changed the course of her life, thus leading to her romance with lottie matthews and having to adapt to the climate of the canadian rockies.

Salem Rose is a 17-year-old with a dry sense of humor and a sharp, sarcastic edge. She rarely takes things at face value and keeps most people guessing, but she’s more observant and loyal than she lets on.

Salem plays right midfield and is one of the fastest on the team. She’s often put on the other team’s best players and never backs down from a challenge.

Salem is closest to Van, has a lowkey rivalry with Shauna, and eventually starts secretly dating Travis. She has a twin brother, Jose, back home.

Salem hunts with Travis and Natalie, and sometimes takes on a quiet spiritual role in the group.

Salem mostly believes Lottie, but also thinks something’s not right with her. She doesn’t have visions, but sometimes has prophetic dreams she keeps to herself.

it's early may of 1996 right now! ~ just about.. close to a monthish before the plane crash field trip :3 it seems to be a reoccurring theme for me to choose to arrive a month before anything big happens story wise but . we stay silly

⠀⠀WARNING : this is shifting, so if you don’t believe in it, just do not interact. if you guys want something more specific feel free to send an ask!

Before I start talking about my lore, I should point out that it changes all the time — this is the current version, but don’t expect it to be the same within three months hehe.

As a patriot, I love scripting my Argentine identity into all my desired realities (lmao). So, my mom comes from a low-income Argentine family, and my dad is the complete opposite — he’s from the United States and comes from a family with plenty of money.

My dad, unlike his brothers, was always a bit more down-to-earth. He was always different. Less eccentric, I guess. My mom is an artist, a painter, a free-spirited hippie who falls in love with a guy in college. That’s where I come from.

We lived on a farm in a small town in Argentina until a friend of my dad’s told him there was an opening for mayor in Wiskayok, and since he’d studied politics, he took the opportunity and we moved there. I knew both languages, Spanish and English, so I had no problem and never had a hard time getting used to it and adapting. I instantly became friends with Jackie Taylor, Shauna Shipman, and Mari Ibarra.

My parents were always realistic with me, and although they spoiled me quite a bit, it’s not like I’m oblivious to everything going on around me — they like to send me every summer to my maternal grandparents’ farm so I can see what it’s like to live in a place that doesn’t have all the material comforts. Also, they’re parents who always gave me the freedom to choose my own religion, so I told them I wanted to start going to church every Sunday.

Hiccup H Haddock III - RTTE DR

The Hocus Crow is literally Hiccups resting face. He is permanently tired and he’s pathetic ( i love him ). He has that blank stare like he’s contemplating every decision he has made up until now. And of course I had to pick the bashful dragon for Hiccup, he’s my dragon boy. Plus, he reminds me of book toothless

Natalie Scatorccio - Yellowjackets DR

Cizi Snake is so Natalie . . . no other comment. And of course Nat is a cat, it even rhymes. She acts like a cat! Its very cute. These are pretty self explanatory.

Percy Jackson - PJO DR

I chose the amuseable olive pair because I love olives and whenever he has any he gives them all to me despite liking olives himself. And then there are the amuseable sardines . . . I once called him a sardine and what he is, I am soooooo. Plus look at them they're so cute!!!

Dick Grayson - Gotham DR

I chose Heartthrob Bear because that’s exactly what Dick is (much to my dismay) a heartthrob. Everyone loves him. And of course Plum Robin because Dick is the og Robin and my fav Robin!! (don't tell the other Robins I said that 🤫)
