When life is really hard for a long time, I find myself yearning to be a Little again. It comforted me a long time ago when I was anxious all the time. I felt at home in that headspace at one point. But if push came to shove, I don’t think I could really hack it anymore. I just don’t think that level of regression is available to me, mentally - even spiritually.

The emphasis I’ve put on service submission for this many years dies hard, (or possibly cannot be killed) even when I’d prefer to be the “served” once in a while when I’m overwhelmed.

Just thoughts.

transformer eggs but kiwi size proportions. The brooding period before hatching is so long because it doubles as a recovery period for the poor carrier ❤️‍🩹 Sparklings are so rare because it takes a long time between cycles to lay again!
