Thursday jams.. 🎸'The Dirty Mac' was a one-time English super-group consisting of Eric Clapton, John Lennon, Mitch Mitchell and Keith Richards that Lennon put together for the Rolling Stones' TV special titled The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus in 1968. 🙌 Heres the story from photographer Ethan Russell: "Performed one time only for The Rolling Stones Rock & Roll Circus." John gave them their name, British slang for a dirty raincoat, and (by association) dereliction. They performed "Yer Blues."
