5. I’d love to do something for equal rights or an animal rights task force, or something for the homeless… But I think I’d go with something along the lines of equal wages for women, workplace discrimination of any kind and things of this nature because I feel they’re easier to police and ensure their function stays in place.

Considering the majority of my knowledge of Canada is satirical or from 1girl5gays (I love you Michael Yerxa, Phillip Tetro, Jonathan Schuster, Alex Brown, Dean McArthur, David Roberts, Thomas Trafford and Santos!) I think Canada is great, dare I say better than America. I’m sure there are minuses to living in Canada, like angry moose, but on the whole, they seem to excel at everything we suck at doing here like student funding for school and health care…

15. I think I enjoyed my senior year of high school the most. Finally had friends, a boyfriend, and a bitching wardrobe. Also, really came into my own artistically and writing wise. I was 20 years old in April of my senior year because I’d failed a grade and taken a year off due to money problems(non sequential) so a lot of who I was then is who I am now. I also really liked the semester I had speech class in college because I struggle with public speaking, or even just normal speaking with strangers. it really pushed me out of my comfort zone and my unexpectedly high grades gave me so much more confidence just as a person.

Michael Yerxa is just such a beautiful human being and he should be an inspiration to gay people everywhere. to be them selves and ask questions. to  be open and truthful to yourself. and to not feel ashamed of what you are or for feeling however you're feeling. He's portrayed such a valuable message while being himself on 1 girl 5 gays.

I will miss you. You grew up, learned more than you ever thought you could. I agreed with you, I got choked up with you and watched how you learned to agree to disagree.

To my the cast members that really changed me and made me feel proud to be queer:

Yerxa- Thank you for showing how amazingly vastly intellectual Maritimers can be and for having amazing passion.

JP- Your wonderfully quilted words make me think as much as they make me laugh.

Juan- You are all heart and fearless. Love it! It takes so much courage to wear your heart on your sleeve.

Jonathan S. - Sass, class, and heart need I say more? You are the kind of person who will be there for your friends.

Santos- I am addicted to glamour too honey. But more then that you are brave and courageous. More then that you are kind of heart.
