Oh! I do wish more fake marriage trope situations start with either half of the couple confirming that the other does not have any other romance budding. It's pretty much understandable that Sae Bom wouldn't ask YiHyun marry her if she's already got someone. But kudos to Sae Bom for checking on her close male friend's romantic status. We can assume she has never kept tabs on his love life. But..... She's also considerate of his feelings and their friendship before popping the question.
