We pit the GoPro Hero7 Black against two popular alternatives, the $200 Yi 4K+ Action Cam, and the $75 Akaso EK7000 Pro. At a glance, they all have pretty similar stats: 2-inch touchscreen, 4K support and wide angle lenses. But which one is actually the best? Well, technically the GoPro — but not by much. Despite costing half as much, the Yi 4k+ Action Cam offers comparable video quality and features to the GoPro cam, offering the same 4K/60 FPS capture as well as voice control features and built-in image stabilization. It’s not waterproof, and the sound quality isn’t quite as good when you put it in a waterproof case… but at half the price, it’s a phenomenal value? What about the other one?
