I just got finished reading "you know they're gonna think you're lovers, right?" And damn. That was????? Really???? Good????? I love how you portrayed the characters (especially Evan and the whole thing with his anxiety manifesting as connor) and still managed a happy ending that made sense so I hope you keep writing!!!! I nearly cried years of joy at the end

Your Kleinsen stories give me the headcannon of Jared bring massively insecure with himself, thinning he's unattractive/ a terrible person/ not good enough for Evan. He keeps it ask bottled up however cause he feels Evan shouldn't have to deal with that stuff on top of his own troubles, which leads to Jared unexpectedly letting all these built up fears out one day.

Yes!! I hc Jared as being very insecure and trying to counteract that insecurity by trying too hard to be seen a confident (is that even a headcanon anymore, though,,,). I think he’s a really, really complex character, and I talk a lot about these issues specifically in The Man That Got Away, YKTGTYLR, and I’ll Make This Feel Like Home. Jared feeling inadequate and like he doesn’t “deserve” Evan/pushing his own feelings and struggles aside to focus on Evan’s, and then working to get over that/realize it isn’t true is something that’s very, very important to me.

not important but just a fun fact: in my dream, for one bit of it I was literally just searching for new deh fics. It wasn't relevant to the story in my dream, it was just what my brain decided was default, usual behaviour for me. RepreSENT

honestly this is too relatable!!! i love! when i was in the middle of writing yktgtylr i once had a dream about walking through this flower conservatory i made up for the Butterfly Scene and actually talking to jared and evan. my subconscious made me Actually Be IN fanfic it was wild (also i haven’t been able to catch up on deh fanfic recently because there’s So Many new ones, do you have any recs ahgdklaghal)
