I saw a "draw your faves in your cultural clothing" so here's Ylva in taqendourth (taqbaylit/kabylian dress, Algeria)

She's taqbaylit and i said so, she got the attitude she got the curls she got the trauma

Btw ☝️🤓 taqbaylit is (one of) the native name(s) for kabylian, which is the more known name but it was given by frenchs and fuck them, i try to not use it too much ❤️ (Also i need to ask more precisely about it cuz ik taqbaylit is the name for the language but idk if it's rly the same for the people? I saw that yes but i need a real answer, need to ask to my family...)

Anyways! Amazighs are the natives from North Africa, and there's differents ethics groups which are part of them like the Kabyles/Taqbaylits

I was reorganising Ylva’s treat nook when I knocked the spot on flea treatment to the floor by accident, and remembered I am about a week late in giving Ylva her monthly dose (she gets a drop between the shoulder blades once monthly as a preventive measure). Usually, applying this is a two man job — I will hold her still while Max applies it, to stop her running away — however, Max is currently at work, and Ylva had been dutifully supervising what I was doing, so I figured I’d try it solo.

I approached her, flea treatment in hand, expecting her to bolt as she normally does. Instead, to my surprise, she parked her bum and sat quietly while I applied the drops. The moment I’d finished, she trotted back towards her treat nook and glanced from there to me, and I realised what she was asking for in exchange for her obedience — payment 😂
