10 Best Platformers On The Steam Deck
The Steam Deck may not be as associated with platformers as the Switch is, but Steam has a whole host of greats (primarily indies) that are worth a look. If we're talking specifically about games on Steam, then a lot is off the table, but you can definitely find some gems.
Check them out!

Напоминаем, что 2023 год продолжает оставаться плохим годом для людей, создающих игры, неважно, что Джефф Кейли и Гонзо могут сказать…

It took me forever to get through these ten because I kept picking out boring or broken games that made me unenthusiastic to play more, thinking I would just pick out another dud. There were some excellent games nonetheless (the top three? All S-tier. My tier list is becoming almost comically top-heavy - I am so easy to please)
1.Evergate - Fun, clever, and gorgeous! I think it’s snuck it’s way onto my top games of all time
2.Griftlands - Slay the Spire with a story and social mechanics. So, Slay the Spire but EVEN BETTER
3.Ynglet - Platformers can be one of the most stressful genres for me so I love it when they make a point to be chill.
4.Call of the Sea - The graphics chugged a little on my little weenie weakling laptop, but it was all worth it for the visuals.
5.Noita - I think this is the least time I’ve ever spent on a roguelike before deciding it was time to move on (about 7 hours). It never fully clicked for me how I was supposed to play it.
6.Figment - A little clunky and annoying, especially in terms of combat, but the art and world of this game were really creative and entertaining.
7.Coffee Talk - The vampire and the werewolf were totally boyfriends. Don’t remember much else about this one
8.ETHEREAL - I was really enjoying this game and ready to give it a great rating before I got softlocked by a bug. Check it out if you’re into abstract art and puzzle games - hopefully the same thing won’t happen to you.
9.Switch ‘N’ Shoot - Simple and unique gameplay that’s perfect for the arcadey, high-score oriented gamers out there. Of which I am not one.
10.Yume Nikki - I didn’t get it
