Entrance exam stress is over (mostly). Now I have all summer to get fitter! Hopefully I’ll be maybe 5kg down by the end of the summer :)

had yogaberry today! c: it tasted amazing <3
Great sigh of shame
So yes, I know, I know, I'm a bad fitblr. Firstly because I've had lousy results and secondly because I've been away for AGES. But I promise I'll be more diligent from now on.
Plans for today
Booooo! My sister was supposed to go to town to shop with me but she decided not to, so I guess I'll just go to the gym tonight then. The past few weeks I've been trying to convince my boyfriend to join me at the gym and he finally agreed to come next monday or tuesday the latest. I'm so happy :)
Yesterday I surprised myself happily; I was fooling about with my boyfriend, doing pushups and sit ups and stuff like that and I then asked to try if I could do a squat with him on my shoulders, and lo and behold, I DID IT! I actually squatted 55kg! I never knew I could do that! So far the highest weights I've used at the gym, have been around 35kg. Good to know I'm not as weak as I thought!
Do you have a weightloss buddy yet? Because I would love to be it!
Not really no, I'd love to hear your stats :)
Oh yes baby!
I'm back in the game! My nose is still a bit stuffy and my throat is somewhat sore, but I feel like I'm ready to hit the gym again, finally:) This weekend will be spent at a camp in the woods somewhere so no gym then, but exercise has never been scarce at a scouts camp! Just need to watch my portions and avoid junk. Today I shall run a few K, then weights and finally, some yoga, the love of my life.
Eating
Why do i love carbs so much?? Why do I EAT SO GOD DAMN MUCH!?
After a week of following my eating meticulously with the help of a food diary I can see that on average, I eat around 1800 to 2100 calories per day if I don't pay attention to what and how much I eat. And you know, in a way it's not bad - at least my body self regulates enough to maintain me at the weight I'm at.
But that's not what I want.. I want to be skinnier. I want to be in better shape again. I want to get back to better aerobic condition! All I've been doing regularly is yoga, and thats about it. Walking and biking occasionally and sometimes some weights at the gym.
So how should I get back on track again? Eat less, move more, blahblahblah... I NEED MOTIVATION. It's way too easy for me to be this size and never shift an inch in any direction. My boyfriend loves me too much to admit I'm overweight and that I really should lose some weight at least for the sake of my health if nothing else. I always get to a good start but just give up because I end up feeling way too comfortable being the way I am.
I weigh 73 kg. My BMI is almost 27 and because I'm on the pill I should really make sure I'm not overweight, I am so scared of getting a blood clot...
Anyhow, I'm going on a trip to Morocco to my grandparents in around 4 weeks. They always complain about me being too fat and such so now would be a perfect time to get a proper move on. 4 weeks to lose around 5 kg?
Maybe I could do it, with a bit of willpower.
An update
This week has been pretty good in terms of both exercise and diet. Sure, I've still been eating sweets and such, but I'm finding moderation. I've halved meals when I've seen fit, because let's face it; I ALWAYS pile too much food on the plate and when I've eaten it I feel SO stuffed and icky, but now I've managed to avoid that.
My current weight is at around 72kg (158 lbs) and I''m feeling like my target of 68kg by the 31st of July is achievable. I'll definitely have to start weeding out junk out of my diet instead of just limiting it slightly. Keeping some kind of notes on how much and more importantly WHAT I'm eating would probably be a good idea for a week or two. I'l also be increasing my gym visits from two a week to three or four, depending on how much I do other stuff.
All in all I feel rather positive about myself now. My butt has gotten firmer in the past months (because I never stopped doing my squats and lunges although I was immobile otherwise) and now after a long time of being sick, I feel so energetic and good.
5kg in 4 weeks. It's doable, but takes a lot of work! Time to get a waistline for the first time in my life!
