~ Coming Home to your Inner Landscape ~
People who come to my classes know that they can be vigorous and powerful but that you work at your own level, and that I suggest modifications for all postures. The idea is to go to *your edge* without going over it, and that there is a difference between the limits the mind sets for you, and the actual limits of your physical body.
That is why we always check in with this inner landscape in-between each exercise, so we can watch for the difference.
That is why most of the exercises are done with closed eyes so we are focused on what is important, not what is out there.
That is also why I play music, as the sound current can often ease us back home to the inner world.
Welcome home!

Today I did this kriya for tolerance for my sadhana. What I learnt about tolerance is that the trick is to create and generate inner strength qso that we can tolerate our own crap. We do not need to tolerate other people’s views, we need to truly accommodate them as part of ourselves… embracing others’ shit is a true and honest way of facing one’s own shadow. To do this we have to be strong because humans are full of crap!
