Day 24/100. #100daysofpatience Learning that teaching yoga come sin strides. Some days, you walk away from a class absolutely defeated. Other days, you walk away as the student, not the teacher. It's magic. Last night, during yin, I took my students into nidra after an earthy, grounding, sunshine-filled class. As we sink into nidra, going through the 61 points of meditation, I'm the only one who can see the storm brewing outside. The sun disappeared, the sky went dark. For ten minutes you couldn't see the setting sun. And then, just as I go to move the students out of nidra, the entire studio lit up. The sun came in. And as it did, the sky started to pour. I feel like I'm making everything into metaphors these days (ugh #100dayproject), but there's something amazing to see rain falling and sun shining. The duality. The give and take. That tiny piece of time that was all mine. #iamrootedbutiflow #becalm #beherenow #yogaeverydamnday #yoganidra #yin #yourpracticeissacred #yogaiowa #patienceandalliscoming #loveandalliscoming #thisislovenotfear #belove #yogateacher
