Let’s talk about Protector Pun. The way he quickly stood in front of Yo, hiding this boy behind his back from a possible threat. Basically, Pun is still a dangerous vampire who has been around for hundreds of years, with a 100% probability he could safely kill, but he chose to go the way of the nice cuddly vampire. I'm sure if Yo was in serious danger, Pun would destroy anyone without blinking an eye.

Yo was nonetheless just as scared for Pun (if one of my friends started choking, I'd be freaking out too).

The way our sweet baby boy promised to protect him as best as he could broke me.

This kid still doesn't realise his feelings, but he is already willing to spend all his energy to save Pun.

And of course Pun is touched by this. The love of his life has sweetly vowed to stay close to him and keep him safe from any threat

So our vampire has decided to assert his rights, because he feels responsible for Yo's well-being

the audacity of 1000 Years Old to come in swinging for the gut with an ABSOLUTE RECONTEXTUALIZATION OF THE ENTIRE SERIES RIGHT AT THE END, IN THE FINALE, and the need i have to rewatch the entire series immediately and cry about it has been driving me insane since i finished the finale earlier today
