Kinda disappointed as I struggle to find more discussion on Cargo (2017) and its themes. The environmental themes are super important and prevelant, and the focus on grief, loss and trauma are so compelling. The focus on the aboriginal perspective is vital to this movie and again I just wish there was more conversation about it.
I found myself in awe of the movie and crying over it a lot of the time. I only just watched it but I want to keep thinking about it and meditating on it.

WATCHED
I don't usually get all "I'm not crying, you're crying." in a zombie-type movie.
But Simone Landers is giving me the feelz. What a clever little actress as Thoomi.
She's going to be such brilliant talented actress. She's already excellent in her first role here. She's blessed that movie with real heart.
