I would love to read a zombie apocalypse starring Indigenous or mutual aid communities because i have to wonder whether the failed communities in WWZ are written from white american pessimism against white american values
I have just discovered a very specific genre
Kinda disappointed as I struggle to find more discussion on Cargo (2017) and its themes. The environmental themes are super important and prevelant, and the focus on grief, loss and trauma are so compelling. The focus on the aboriginal perspective is vital to this movie and again I just wish there was more conversation about it.
I found myself in awe of the movie and crying over it a lot of the time. I only just watched it but I want to keep thinking about it and meditating on it.
I should be sleeping but what the hell. One more movie!
