A/N - God, i haven’t written anything for the straights in so long. I still managed to name drop minn-erva though. She is my queen and y’all don’t appreciate her enough.

Hands intertwined, you pulled the man along and into the bedroom. His hand slipped from yours as he pushed the door closed. It was the first time, you had seen him in weeks. He’d been away on some mission. Being the hero, he already was in your eyes and many others. An evening spent at some function to celebrate a successful mission, you had finally convinced him it was time to leave. 

“She hardly even knows me though. It’s completely unfair.” You express, as you slip off your coat and walk towards the closet. Pulling out a hanger and hanging up your jacket. “Why does she hate me?”

“Minn-Erva doesn’t hate you.” He insisted, walking up behind you as you stood before the mirror and beginning to slip out of your evening attire. “She hates… everybody.”

“She can’t hate everyone.” You shrug, turning to face him. “I’m gonna make her like me. She’ll come around, surely.”

“Maybe.” He gently pecks your lips before wandering off to get ready for bed. You watched him for a moment through the reflective surface and he faced you again. “Minn-Erva can be cold, Y/N. Love doesn’t melt every frozen heart.”

“You’re wrong.” you insist, slipping on an oversized t-shirt. After a moment in the bathroom, you retire to the bed. Snuggling beneath the duvet. Yon-Rogg was still fiddling in the bathroom and you left him to it. Your attention had been diverted to the book you kept close to the bed to amuse yourself. As you hear the door open, you close the book over. Laying it in your lap as you turn your attention to your very shirtless boyfriend. He was sporting some casual joggers though. Pulling aside the duvet, he was about to join you when he came to an abrupt stop. 

“What is this doing in here?” He wondered out loud. His brow cocked up in curiosity. Held between two fingers was his all too familiar black robe. Heat rushes to your checks and you sink into the bed just slightly. 

“Uhhh.” You place the book off to the side once more. “ I might have slept with your robe while you were gone.”

“why?” He asked, settling to Robe down elsewhere and climbing into the other side of the bed. 

“Because I missed you, idiot.” You roll onto your side, “a lot. And it reminded me of you.”

He rolled onto his side, propping his head upon his arm. A small smile resting on her lips. “Good thing I’m back then,”

“You could just say you missed me too.” You insist with a long, dramatic sigh. Your brows furrowing. His smile grew brighter, leaning in to gently press his lips against you. 

“I missed you too.” He whispered softly.
