just finished nine seasons of the peep show (2003) and i have become obsessed with the jesse armstrong cinematic universe. jeremy saving elena's gf from drowning in a boat accident (which is coincidentally followed by a car crash), and coming out of it believing he is evil when it wasn't really his fault vs kendall having a crisis of guilt after not being able to save the waiter when the car crashes into a lake. insane finales involving catastrophic weddings. tomfoolery. drugs. embarrassing music. the throwing out of ipads. allusions to roman history. inescapable cycles of unhealthy co-depency. daddy issues. bisexuality. beastie boys references. repeated use of the word 'teat.' the stubborn, relentless persistence of human pain. *chef's kiss*
