17. what are some hobbies that you developed?

My COOKING. While the kitchen has always been my first love, I’ve definitely delved into cuisines I’ve never attempted before and it has been amazing. I’ve never been so well fed while ALSO managing to lose weight at the same time, it’s a miracle.

25. what’s one thing that you hope will continue next year?

I’ve developed a lot of really positive habits this year and have been emphatically taking care of myself. In the new year, I hope to hold tight to these new habits and continue making myself a priority because the happier my body/brain is, the less angry my MS is and I really, really like feeling my hands. <3

Icarus - How would you describe yourself?

Umm. I would avoid doing so if I thought it was possible— not that I think the world of myself, but any kind of “this is me!” presentation feels like bragging and I don’t like it on principle. 😰

But to sidestep it a bit, I’d like people here to know that I’m trying my best to be both true to myself and my creative spirit while not impeding on anyone else’s, ever, and that I twist myself internally into terrible thought-pretzels of anxiety over the vaguest possibilities I can conceive of making anyone who hasn’t wronged me uncomfortable. So... nervous. I would describe myself as someone who is nervous and deeply does not want to be. But also as someone whose brain tells her that there is a dreadful possibility that if she gives up the things that make her aware/nervous she will lose some commensurate good ability to notice things. So someone constantly at war with her own self. That is how I would describe a person with my... this. And hoooooboy does any person meeting that description need (more) therapy! 🥵🪂

29) Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?

Aaaaaaah I think in my heart of hearts, definitely my Saizo fic Among Thickets. I spent a lot of time on that one and did a shit ton of research for like....1% of it to end up in the fic lmfao but I just personally love that damn fic.

However, Ripple --my Masayuki fic is one of my favorites and I feel as if I want more people to read that one as well. It’s not NSFW, and it is not a reader insert nor is it even about a character you can romance in the game though so I definitely understand why it didn’t get as much traction as other things ahha. 

48) What’s your favourite trope to write?

Probably love triangle/jealousy. I also enjoy writing the mentor trope of like...some hot shot greenhorn begrudgingly learning the ropes from an old wise then slowly learning discipline and loving their mentor like PRY THESE FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS LOL.
