« ☀️ » : although people watching was never his thing, having absolutely nothing to do in this city left him with no choice. he had no clue what he should be doing, there was no sense of direction, and no one to take care of him. he couldn’t even manage to feed himself. his whole life he had been taken care of and suddenly that’s all taken away from him. even when he had left the palace, agni was always there for him. this is his first time truly alone. it was kind of terrifying. not to mention he’s about a century ahead of his time. but the true effects of it haven’t quite settled in yet.
he had been paying attention to a girl in the library. the library was the only place that didn’t feel so bizarre; it looked just like the libraries back home. the girl he had been watching seemed so soft in her mannerisms, so kind to everyone she spoke to. the only thing that could be brought to mind was agni. he missed him. and he surely couldn’t do anything without him. no one could ever replace what him and agni had, but somebody would need to temporarily fill in for him during his days here. peeking at her behind shelves would get him nowhere though, he needed to assert himself as a prince!
jumping out from his hiding spot, he pointed a finger at the stranger, yelling a bit too loud for a library, “you! be my khansama!”
goddammit, soma.
