An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works

when you get this you have to answer with 5 things u like about yourself, publicly. then, send this ask to 10 of your favorite followers (non-negotiable, positivity is cool)✨💝
positivity is cool!!
1. i make a conscious effort to be kind and respectful to every human i interact with, because i believe every human being deserves it
2. i think i have really pretty eyes
3. my hair is purple/blue/green, and i think it’s pretty
4. i have really strong legs, which leads me to have some very thick thighs
5. i work really hard to make sure that i’m putting more good into the world than anything else
hey this was actually kinda hard for me, because this is something i work on in therapy almost every week. i still did it, even though it can be hard to think of things you like about yourself; self-compassion is always a good thing
highpriestesscard replied to your post “we all remember our first shiv ”
Your experiences are not universal.
are you telling me youve never made a shiv
You ever just look at your own blog and think wow this jive is still hilarious
perhaps the most frustrating part of being an aromantic asexual is wanting a romantic, sexual relationship in theory but not wanting one in reality or at least, not knowing how to behave in one or understanding how to get one and maintain it, and therefore finding it easier to pretend you don't want one at all and also not being able to find someone you like as more than a friend because you aren't attracted to anyone as more than a friend even though you want to be more-than-friends with someone? and feeling like dating and sex and kissing and shit is somehow 'above' friendship, because you've been conditioned to believe that all your life and however much you tell yourself it isn't true, you can't shake the feeling that romantic/sexual relationships are 'more', that they are 'the next level' of relationships and god it bothers you so much sometimes
