follow up to the ask and more shifting advice. basically just what i’d tell myself like 6 years ago
first time i shifted, i was just thinking about my dr so much and had so much faith in it being real that i don’t think i left myself any room for any type of doubt. i told myself i was going to shift and that there was no way i wouldn’t, and then i did. nothing fancy. i know it’s not as simple for others, but i honestly think it’s because people over complicate it so much
every other time i shift, its me being like “i want to shift, so im going to shift now” closing my eyes, and going to sleep. sometimes i daydream about my dr, decide to shift, and shift. it’s completely up to the person.
best best advice i can give anyone is to STOP LISTENING TO OTHER PEOPLE
define your own journey and what shifting means to you. if you don’t like scripting, don’t do it. if you don’t like methods, don’t do them. if you love doing methods, do them. whatever makes you happy, do it. nothing will hinder you from shifting, not even doubt. there are plenty of shifters who didn’t believe in shifting, but still did it
do whatever you want to, and just trust that it will happen. you’re not going to not shift because your leg twitched when you were supposed to be still. nothing will prevent you from shifting. mindset could perhaps delay it, but never prevent it.
tell yourself you can and you will. you don’t have to set a date to do it and you don’t have to force it either. you will because you know you will and you know you have the ability to. one “fail” doesn’t mean it’ll never happen. i promise you, you will shift.
this is coming from someone who spent 6 years trying and “failing” to shift. as soon as i took off so much of that weight of trying to do everything “right” it all became so much easier. just do whatever you want and don’t let anyone else say you’re doing something wrong. don’t tell yourself you’re doing something wrong, because you’re not. you’re right just by believing in yourself

tl;dr: there is nothing that will stop you from shifting, so take that pressure off of you. you can’t ever do anything wrong when it comes to shifting, so stop telling yourself you are. faith in yourself is enough. YOU are enough
I reccomend reading this when you have time, and preferably with a black theme because the decorations will mostly all have black backgrounds and look sad if your theme is any different. Remember, shifting is your journey, your decision, and your power. It doesn't need training, motivation or anything. If you don't feel like reading this, you don't have to. You are a master shifter.
Also, reminder that I am not always right, I might make mistakes, and there is no universal truth to shifting other than the fact it is inevitable and natural. If something here doesn't fit with you or feels right, you don't have to listen to it. Shifting is what you make it, and I'm saying what it is to me. Happy shifting!
First of all...
What even is shifting?
Let's say that everything is possible. Basically, there are infinite universes out there, infinite possibilities - you may know this as the multiverse - where science is far different than it is here. Where things that make sense here don't make any sense. Where things that happened here haven't happened. Places completely different... Or the same, with only one difference.
They are endless, hence infinite, and they mean everything, anything and nothing is possible, all at the same time. Because, since everything exists, there's a place where nothing exists, etc.
We, as awareness ("beings" that are aware/can observe things) aren't stuck just in one universe. We can actually travel through the universes, the infinite possibilities... Just not actually traveling.
Think of it as a TV. We are observing, watching the TV. There are endless channels on this specific TV, though, the channels are infinite and there is one channel for literally anything we want. We can change the channels as we please, go back to a channel we were before or go to a completely different channel, the remote is ours.
That's basically what shifting is! We don't travel physically. Our bodies don't stop being here. The "channels" don't stop existing. We just start watching - being aware - of a different reality! We change our perception to something else, we start focusing on another place.
If you didn't understand, here's some other analogies:
1. Imagine your body. Now imagine I stab your foot. Your whole attention is probably going to be directed at your foot, right? But what about your head? It's there too, but it wasn't stabbed, so you won't focus on it. Similarly, we are connected to all of the universes we please, but we were taught to focus on this one, so that's why our perception is here!
2. Think of it as a house. You're in the house, and the house is yours. There are many doors in this specific hallway. You go inside one of the doors, and you look at everything inside. Right now, your attention is in what's inside this one, specific door. That doesn't mean the other doors don't exist, that you can't go inside them, or that they're not in your house. But still, you're not paying attention to them. You know the rooms inside them exist, you might even know what's inside some of the rooms, but you're not paying any attention to them right now.
Shifting is something we, as awarenesses, do naturally! Whenever we focus on anything, when we breathe, think or make any decisions, as well as when other people do any of that, we shift! There are infinite realities, so we don't run out of places to shift to.
"But I don't feel myself shifting!" Shifting is a natural process. You don't feel yourself breathing unless you're doing so manually... Or you were born with a condition that doesn't let you do it without it being manual. Shifting is alike that. You won't realise you do unless or until you make a big change.
We shift to places based on what we believe in, and surround ourselves with our shifting! That's why you may see loads of content about the things you like, and it's also why people who hate topic A see so much content hating on stuff they like. It's not just algorithm, it shows up outside of the internet too. It's simply the rythm of life!
Each reality works differently. Shifting may sound fake, probably because of the "science" behind the other realities. However, let's aply logic to shifting.
Of course, magic exists. It doesn't exist here, because our science doesn't approve of that. But we find out about our science. We make experiments to find out the why of things. Our science isn't "logical", our science is what we believe because we were raised with it. If you were raised believing in magic, inside hogwarts or something, with a wand, there would be perfectly logical explanations for you of the why and how of everything. It's simply a matter of context.
Every place has it's logic, meaning, and reason to exist, no matter how random it looks.
Here are some terms about shifting that you might hear in the future! Not necessarily here just in the community.
DR - desired reality, the reality you wish to shift to
OR - original or old reality, the reality you were before
CR - current reality, the reality you are in the present
WR - waiting room, a desired reality often used to wait to go to another drs in, chill off after anything really, or a way to go to another drs, for example a hallway with multiple doors with each being a dr
3D - the physical world
4D - your mind/thoughts basically I don't really know
DRSELF - you. Just you in your dr. Drselves don't really exist because that's just you in another place. I don't call me when I'm in a kitchen my kitchenself
S/O - significant other
*something* CLAIM - what a shifter claims to be theirs in their dr! Like a face claim
Ego - a part of your brain in a specific reality that wants to keep you tied to it, like the little voice in your mind that tells you shifting isn't real, because, I'll say, it's scared you'll leave
How do I find out if shifting is real?
You don't have to do any research, you don't need to believe, and you don't have to know shifting is real to shift. But if it truly helps you in your journey, I'm going to lend some advice on why it is and how to study about it.
Reminder: all people have different ways to shift! Finding out about why it's real might help you, but it also might change nothing. Don't worry if it feels the same after you study, that's perfectly natural!

However, mostly, I do not recommend you try tumblr posts or YouTube videos that you see in recommendations only. That is, if you're truly looking to study shifting. That's why there's not that many. Search, make mistakes, journal it. I can only give you videos I personally find helpful, and we are not the same person. I cannot tell you what videos you will personally find helpful, agree with or like.
But if you want my opinion..
I believe shifting is real because I already experienced it. I guess that makes it clearer for me. But even more than that, before I had even my first minishift, I believed it because:
- Spiritually. Life is cruel. Heavens or hell, life is short, cruel. Some people die before they are born. Some people live only suffering. Some people die after being treated like, and ONLY like, animals. I never believed it was fair for beings to be treated like that.
- Spiritually. There are so many miracles- but not only in one religion. You don't see only Christians thanking their God because they were saved from diseases. Every single religion prays miracles happened. Even atheists find proof that those aren't true "miracles", and it stays between a miracle and not. Because a religious person will always believe and find proof it's a miracle - they're shifting somewhere it IS one - while an atheist will always find proof of the contrary, because they're shifting to somewhere where it isn't.
- Scientifically. Physicists did research based off atoms, there are CIA tapes and research about reality shifting, there is multiple historical proof on it that cannot be faked, and it is nearly impossible within our logic, and ACTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS SPECIFIC UNIVERSE, for an entire community to make a conspiracy that brings 0 money to the table, no government income and no fame, incredible toxicity and multiple people calling them liars and deluded, and even adding CIA into it, for NO reason, other than making conspiracies for teenagers to work more/give money to their presidents.
If I want to accompany creators in shifting, who should I?
A little controversial if I'll be honest, because everyone has their different personal likes and what they need. I'll try to place my personal favourites here, based in different sections of "why" you should follow their content.
Some WILL be repeated. I don't care. Some fit more than one category, what can I say?

What even is a DR?
DR stands for "desired reality". It's the reality you WANT to go to! It can be anything, by the way, it doesn't have to be what you consider fictional.
How do I script for my DR? And is it necessary?
Scripting is optional, and it can go however you please!
You can make giant, aesthetic pages online, small notes, make it in any app, make it on your walls, a notebook, anything you desire! You can even just affirm it or think about it if you want.
Believe your subconscious! It doesn't matter what you write, you will always get what you desire in the end! Scripting can be taken as something done just for fun. Personally, I script for fun. A looooot.
I truly love writing, hehe.
If you want scripting TIPS, however, I'm big on it! My opinion btw.
Apps to script on:
Google docs - 6/10.
I guess it serves a purpose... You can write infinitely in it. However, organization can be challenging if you like doing so by tabs. Not only is there a limit to the amount of times you can make a tab under another tab, there is an overall limit of 100 tabs per document! Also, the notes itself are VERY aesthetically challenged, and may just not look any pleasing to the eyes. Good side is it can take nearly any kind of photo, has multiple different fonts, font sizes and is very stretchable for what you can add, can take any kind of text, and you can share it between accounts or use folders in a google drive to make it more organized. Still, ugly scripts, not enough tabs, just enough to "pass the test".
Lifa app - 8.5/10
I'm big on it. It's organized, can have a different theme, cute, and has multiple options. You can add notion scripts, make your own scripts and define multiple things. I guess the options are just a little limited? I can't really add descriptions to places, I need to make scripts for that, same with containers for belongings. Not to mention, some descriptions really suck, and some things would look much better with different mechanics. I really wish the wardrobe option would be in the same style as the photo gallery. However, I actually like this app!
Notion - ???/10
This is famous, and has multiple good scripts. I do recommend it if you already know how to make design, it is definitely the best for aesthetics, looks and information. However, I truly, TRULY do not know how to use it. While I know it's great, I can't give you a proper review and tell you it's amazing. I scripted this out most of my DRs...
Phone notes - 4/10
A classic. Truly simple, aesthetically challenged and, perhaps, one of the most used apps to make scripts in. I personally wouldn't. Possibly never. However, it is pleasing to look at after you write a lot - the feeling of writing so many words is pleasant! It's not vert organised, and the folders could definitely get better, so it doesn't really pass my test.
Word - 3/10
It's basically as good as notes in your phone, but it's not in your phone, and it sucks, and it's generally harder and difficult to look at.
Ok, but how do I even shift?
The "how" in shifting is a pretty discussed topic. You can search it a thousand times and you'd get a thousand different answers.
Truly, you need nothing to shift. You can just say "I'll shift right now", close your eyes and be in hogwarts. Shifting is as easy as breathing, as I mentioned earlier.
Then... Why didn't it happen right now?
Well, it might just have. You just didn't accept it.
Shifting is more than seeing your physical world change, it's changing so that the world will follow you. That is done differently by every type of person, nobody does shifting the exact same, or nearly nobody at least.
I would write this in a big, giant paragraph, but I can't be bothered to do that, so I'll separate in different categories again.
What is truly needed to shift?
Nothing.
We shift as we breathe, think, and exist. Awareness is what we are and awareness is always shifting.
Give up on the thoughts that something is necessary to shift.
You don't need any mental state, you don't need any mindset, nothing, to shift.
This will get easier to understand as I go on.
So, yes. You can shift right now. You can shift if you're angry, sad, happy, anxious, doubtful, distrustful, in a fit of rage, depressed, self hating, self loving, in euphoria, in hysteria, whatever it is you're feeling, thinking or doing, you can just shift.
You can shift no matter what your position is, how much water you've had, how many hours, IF ANY, you've meditated today.
You don't need any methods, meditations or guides, truly. You just need to shift. You don't need to write anything down. You don't need to do anything.
Some people will tell you to just persist. Yes, persistence will inevitably make you shift. But you'll shift anyway. So don't even worry about it.
How is it the easiest to shift?
Faster, I would say with meditations, using the LOA and affirming. But if you dislike that? If it displeases you? Do NOTHING. Accept shifting is inevitable, and one day you'll truly, physically achieve infinity. That's truly all you have to do.
Methods, all kinds.
Methods are ways to help you shift.
You're always shifting, so you really don't need any methods. But they still help.
I'm not big on methods. Personally, I believe they can be boring, tiring and just annoying to do. But I do recognise... They can be helpful for begginers.
I began to see most of you who call yourselves "baby shifters", who say you never shifted, don't truly have the trust in yourselves yet to actually shift.
You don't need this trust, but it makes you don't see it when you actually do shift. It frustrates most of you.
I believe methods can help, yes. If they don't make it slower they can. If they hurt you, bore you or piss you off, you probably should lay off of them however.
I'll go on a few descriptions of each method/method type and how I think it could help.
Sleep methods.
So, as sounds, sleep methods are methods where you do a method, sleep, then wake up in your desired reality. I believe personally those are great for people with doubts, since it can be hard for you to believe and see your surroundings change while awake. I think out of sleep or awake methods those are my favourite, because I personally am not a big fan of changing surroundings.
Awake methods.
Methods where you shift while awake, which can mean you see your surroundings changing, blink and they're changed, or just randomly shift. They're often harder for people to believe it because they sound less logical, despite the fact they are just as "easy" as sleeping methods. It's just you assume they aren't, so the LOA makes it true.
Law of assumption.
You assume you have shifted until you actually shift. Cannot fail, persistence is key, but might take long. Or not. It truly depends on you, how you view shifting and what changes your journey throughout the way. Very relative.
Meditation.
Personal favourite. It helps with mental state in this reality, can help change your mindset, and, despite that not being necessary, I just think it's nice and relaxing. If it doesn't fit you, don't worry. Everyone is different.
Guided meditations.
Places the burden of shifting in someone else other than you. Can be asleep, awake, or LOA. It's the same thing as any other method but gaslighting yourself into thinking it's different because it's someone else talking. If you shift during those, the pride is still yours.
Letting go.
You need to understand that you already shifted.
Yes, the physical is still the same. Yes, you can still read and hear other people's voices.
But still, you already shifted.
This physical world doesn't matter. It's not important. You know what's important? You.
You are a God of your own making, because the entire universe, the 3D (3D basically means physical world, what you can touch) follows the 4D (which means you, your thoughts and desires).
The things you perceive, the things you touch, the things you see, they're all based out of YOU.
IF you believe you can't change anything, if you ASSUME you can't change anything, you won't. Because the world follows your thoughts, and you're thinking you can't change anything.
It's different for everyone, really.
But if you decide you want to shift, if you just decide, right now, even if you don't see any change, even if you don't feel anything, you decided, so it is.
And before you ask me why you can't see it... That's because you probably still haven't realised it. That your mind makes your reality. Once you do, you'll feel, see, and be. You'll realise how truly powerful you are in your own world.
You are limitless, so act like it.
What do I personally recommend you shift as a "baby shifter".
I would give you three advices, based on you.
If you are impatient, angry, or just lazy, remind yourself once everyday before sleep that you are in your desired reality. Persistence is key. You don't have to do anything to shift, you don't even have to believe it, but you will shift.
If you love writing like me, scripting or not, write letters to the people from your DR. They can actually read them, you know! You might even get gifts from them. Ask for signs if you want! Like seeing red flowers, or getting money. But remember, if you truly assume it won't happen, it won't. You can also write memories and silly moments that happened with them!! As long as you imagined it, it already happened (bc u know, infinite universes, your mind creates your reality, etc).
If you like methods, and don't feel tired with them, actually practice meditation I'd say! Meditation is so sweet, helps calming you down and settling in a mindset. Necessary? No. But it can help your lifestyle in this reality, and help make you happier. I personally like it because of that. It helps you realise you already shifted too. I personally get pissed off with guided meditation specifically however.
What can I do to feel connected to my desired reality?
This is not required for anything. Some people just like feeling connected to their desired realities, and that's perfectly fine.
My personal advice is:
Making letters for people in your desired realities! Be them for friends or lovers or parents or WHOEVER! Go insane <3
Practicing stuff you scripted you do! Just for fun, besides you already practice this anyways, so you're just going to be doing something you always do.
Making moodboards for people in your dr!
Making Pinterest boards for people in your dr!
Giving your dr an actual name instead of calling it "Harry potter dr" or whatever
Making things to send to your dr friends! And asides from that example, here's a link to multiple memes you could and should make.
Things you should and shouldn't do when shifting!
Again everyone's journey is different. Don't like my tips? Don't follow them, you'll shift more easily if you do as you please!

Things that make you happy.
Watching shifting memes if you want motivation instead of videos of "how I shifted" (everyone shifts differently, you'll see a thousand different videos and just get confused on why it "doesn't work" for you, because they saw the 3D and you still didn't.)
Stop trying to find content telling you what to do, and instead experiment by yourself ways of shifting, make ur own methods and try your own things!
Stop thinking you need to finish everything here! You'll always have something to do. There will always be a tomorrow here. That won't stop your shifting! You can shift right now and come back tomorrow and do stuff and nobody is going to realise. Time is your servant!
Don't feel the need to script out every little thing. If you don't script you have hair, but you want to, YOU WILL HAVE HAIR. You don't need to specify it, you don't need to affirm it before sleeping. Your subconscious knows what you want.
If you're doing a method, you can move, get up, do something, pause the method then come back, or whatever you want, in the middle of it. That won't stop, pause or slow down your progress.
Shouldn't!
Get stressed because it's taking "too long" to shift, and forget you actually are imortal and shifting is inevitable.
Limit your script to things that "make sense".
Study shifting on tiktok 💔💔💔 Like there are good people there but it's SO TOXIC.
Listen to the little paranoid side of your brain, knowing it is called PARANOIA for a reason
Look for validation on why you'll shift on others, when you're a literal God of your own universe and don't need validation from anyone.
Believe shifting is above you - because again, everything you assume is true, so if you assume shifting is above you, it'd be.
And since I no longer know what to write... He's a list of reasons why you are worthy of shifting/will shift!
You are worthy of shifting because you found out about it: if you weren't, why would you even know?
You will shift because so, so, SO many people shifted after, like, EIGHT YEARS. without ANY SIGN they'd shift, yet they still did
You are worthy of shifting simply because you are aware, and all that is aware is worthy of shifting
You will shift because everything shifts, and if you specifically didn't you'd technically be different to all that's ever existed... Do you truly believe that?
You are worthy of shifting because there are universes where every single pedxphile, every single abuser, every single bad person to ever exist shifts and is doing horrible things right now, so why would you, specifically, not be worthy? If they are? If they hurt so many people? If they are genuinely such bad people?
You will shift because anyone who persists (or not, eventually) shifts.
You are worthy of shifting because everything is.
You will shift because you saw this, and this is a sign you will shift.
You are worthy of shifting.
