YOU ARE IT

JOHN MCINTOSH

‘I AM’ THE Real YOU that lives IN and AS All That Is … and so are YOU. There IS nothing YOU are NOT and yet this YOU is Empty-Nothing-ness.

How can this be?

These images that seem so tangible and real … these experiences that feel so palpable – are ALL projections occurring ‘inside’ this YOU, this ONE SELF … call IT God [by any name], Consciousness or Awareness … there IS only ONE and YOU are IT. Why all the dramas laden as they are with the roller coaster of happiness and sorrow?

This Emptiness YOU are, has infinite potential and in order to ‘know’ IT SELF – ‘projects’ these images [infinite universes] and endless experiences ‘within’ IT SELF then steps into these phantoms tasting and savoring the full swing of the pendulum of opposites that these ‘separated’ illusions manifest and ‘forgets’ [for a season] – IT SELF to fully experience IT SELF. Yes, suffering blends with ecstasy but one without the other is impossible.

Eventually, satiated with this Grand Dream, IT turns ITs ‘attention’ inward [initially through suffering but ultimately through surrender] and returns to the full Awareness of Who IT Really IS – the ONE SELF.

Nothing is EVER out of order.

Do you ever meet someone that completely throws you off your game, that brings so much unexpected happiness in such a short period of time. Well i met someone that literally came right out of left field.. she was always kind of there but never close enough to grab. Up until July 3rd that is... that day brought me a lot of emotions for many different reasons. But that was the beginning of it all, the beginning of me wanting to truly better myself in more ways than one. The beginning of an amazing 4th of July, probably the best 4th I’ll ever have, and the 5th of July is a night that i will never forget. And everyday since, has been nothing but amazing and eye opening. Being with her is so fucking easy, that I don’t feel uncomfortable or scared being my genuine, weird self. I don’t have to force affection, it just comes naturally for the first time ever in my life. She makes me want to tear my own walls down, and be less reserved. She makes me want to be the best version on myself. I know it hasn’t been long but i can tell she is the light at the end of the tunnel, she is the sunlight on my darkest days. She is my sunflower, the one flower I will continue to water for as long as she allows me to. Because after all the heartache, trauma, and toxic people she has encountered in her life, I want to be the reason she shines brighter than she already does and ever will. Because she deserves it more than anyone. A lot of people “ain’t it” but my heart and soul are tell me she is.
