Any time you are feeling something that you just don’t know how to express, write. Even if it doesn’t make sense, even if you think its shit. Put your emotions in black and white. Write a letter, whether it has a recipient or not. Pour out everything you have into it. scream into the void. never bottle your feeling or thought or emotions or memories up, let them out. if you want to cry, cry. don’t destroy yourself trying to keep it all in. don’t fall into the abyss that is your mind. keep whatever it is you have written, so that you can look back on it and see the progress you have or haven’t made. Even if you haven’t made any progress, it at least gives you somewhere to start.
