Caspian Snippet
Deep breaths that’s all I have to do. Mother always said that deep breaths were the way to go when you’re feeling anxious, he thinks. His hands clasped together in an iron hold. He wasn’t sure that he could feel them anymore, but as long as they were doing anything else he would be fine. As long as they weren’t riddled with his sins then he would be fine. He wouldn’t have to think about them. He wouldn’t have to relive every monstrous thing he has done.
He wouldn’t have to remember.
Letting out a shaky breath Caspian stares at the mirror. Or more specifically the reflection that was glaring back at him. The stark contrast of what his memories remembered and what he was now seeing staggered him. His glacier colored eyes widening with the horror of it. Gone were the innocent blue eyes that always looked at the world with openness. Wondering what the next day would bring, and what marvels it would behold. In its stead were two hollow orbs that had already seen enough. No longer wanting to see the marvels the world held, because after everything that happened how could there be any? The innocence being torn away with the harsh reality of his new life. Of what he’s become. Of what he’s had to do in order to survive.
Running a hand through his short hair he couldn’t help but stiffen slightly. Old childhood insecurities worming their way through him. His ears were on full display and there would be no hiding them behind locks of silver. He knows that no one would make fun of him for his heritage now. Not where he was currently, but the feeling still remained. That he should be hiding his mother’s side of his heritage. If only to preserve her legacy more and keep her safe. Something that would only be between himself and her. But, there was nothing he could about that the rules were the rules. He had to keep his hair short or suffer the consequences of such a transcreation.
Allowing his eyes to slip shut Caspian imagines that he was home. In the cottage with the large elm tree growing out in front. His mother gardening in the yard, with eyes just like his own, watching his every move. Making sure that he was staying safe. His father would be either sitting on the porch or he would be chasing him. Laughter clearly shining in his eyes and even more when he was finally caught. Jessica, dear Jessica, would be on the swing that was underneath the great elm. Her chestnut locks spilling out from her braids because of the wind. Her hazel eyes crinkling in concentration underneath her glasses as she read. It was a memory that warmed his heart, but that soon gave way to the coldness that now surrounded him. His eyes opening and reminding him that he would never get that back.
He would never get to hold his mother again. Pressing his face into the crook of her neck and inhaling her sweet scent.
He would never get to play tag with his father again. Laughing like nothing else mattered when he was finally caught. His father swinging him around in his embrace with a laugh of his own.
He would never get to watch Jessica grow up into the amazing woman he was certain she would be. He would never get to be the big brother that she deserved. He would never get to say how sorry he was for everything.
He would never get his family back and that only made the hollow feeling within him grow that much more.
Leveling his gaze back towards the mirror Caspian finally realized what was always so apparent to him before, but he had been blissfully ignorant to it. Trying with all his might to ignore the reality of what he has become. When he was younger his mother had always read him fables of monsters that lurked in the night. Punishing children who misbehaved and rewarding the children who didn’t. He remembers always being so scared of them. Even jumping at his own shadow when she would finish. Her warm smile calmed him down and her familiar presence lulling him to sleep. The memory of her blue eyes was a gentle reminder that she would always be there.
Clenching his fists even tighter Caspian rests his hands against the counter. His gaze was boring into the mirror. Tears started to gather and clouded his vision, but he refused to let them fall. If only his mother had known that the real monster wasn’t in any of the storybooks that she read to me, he thinks, bitterly, his thoughts filled with poison. Hatred became so acute within himself that he could barely stand it. If only she had known that the real monster was the one in the bed.
Looking back up Caspian feels his tears finally escape. His slim shoulders shaking under the weight of his grief, because he couldn’t recognize himself anymore. It wasn’t the loss of innocence that had staggered him before. It wasn’t the length of hair that had caused him to pause and become anxious.
No, it was because he was staring at the face of a monster. A monster that bore resemblance to him but would never be him.
It was the realization that his life, and his family, were truly gone. And, it was all his fault.
So I was playing with face app with some of the new Misha pics when this happened
And now I’m in love with a boy that doesn’t exist 💙💙
I decided to share so you suffer with me 😩😭😭
Lucifer here
Today Gabriel pranked a fledgling. A little seraph named Castiel. The poor little angel was walking around with cat ears and a cat tail the whole day and had no idea why everyone was laughing at him. Gabriel is an asshole. I love him to death but he's an ass.
Remember how I randomly made a handsome young Cas/Misha!Au
Well , I decided to continue with Dean/Jensen because I needed this after yesterday 😩
Here we go, for all your Destiel bookstore/library/ high school? Au needs .
And yes I decided that Dean would have long hair, because I can.
Aren’t they the most handsome couple ever 😭💙💚

Hey kiddos! Gabriel here!
I feel like I should pull a prank on one of the fledglings. Luci likes to say they are off limits cause they are still really young but this one fledgling is just too adorable not to prank. Like he's really socially awkward and easily confused and doesn't understand things and his reaction would probably be the cutest most adorable thing every. The fledgling seraph's name is Castiel. Thoughts?
I mean, no matter what you say, I'll probably do it anyways.
