do you have your own headcanon of what Young Harley looks like? for me i imagine pale skin lanky, very scrawny, frizzy and messy dark brown hair and tired sleep deprived dark eyes that always has a cold stare to it and almost eerie too I headcanon Young Harley has a tendency to stare without realizing with a complete poker face this continues well into his adulthood and big ass glasses that doesn't seem to fit him and always slides down his nose
still thinking about how Harley saw Elliot as a potential father figure and Elliot showing fondness for Harley makes me thought about how this was Elliot's second chance at being a father again after Poppy's death and a chance to move on and start anew but he fumbled it hard

Tbh I imagine him in a similar way definitely pale also lanky and scrawny plus dark hair. Dark brown sound awesome and tbh I can see him having frizzy and messy hair too. Though my adult Harley has his hair cut very short like almost bald cause I hc that he hates when his hair get in the way 😭
But yeah my Harley also wears glasses. I like your idea of him wearing big ass glasses cause it fits him. Though I personally see him having such glasses as a kid but when he's an adult he wears glasses that won't fall off his face.

Elliot could have a second chance with Sawyer but he chose to cling to Poppy because he was grieving hard 😭
Also I was thinking about how Elliot feels guilty for how he handled Sawyer and I started writing a post about how he made Playcare cause he wanted to drown out that guilt.
Cause he wants to make kids happy and have a place to belong and yet he ultimately took that away from Harley.
I'm pretty sure that Elliot chose being selfish over helping out a kid in need.
Also hc territory. I don't know if you know that I hc that Sawyer is a victim of mind control programming (it fits themes of the game and all the parallels Doctor has to orphans and experiments has a lot of parallels to mind control programming plus Sawyer childhood was at the time the mind control programming was happening). So I was thinking that Elliot's decision is what triggered Sawyer's programming.
Cause we know that young Sawyer was focused only on progress and yet it changed after Elliot kicking caused him to do his experiments for benefit of humanity - fixing world when no one else could.
While it could be just that he wanted to prove himself to Elliot I doubt it cause the way Sawyer acts and his obsession with Golden Path tells me that there's more to it.
Sawyer projects a lot of his issues onto experiments and the fact that he designed this whole process to be the way it is could be just a huge projection on his part - ofc he's completely unaware of it.
And while I know that Elliot could feel the guilt only for the fact that he was a huge hypocrite for throwing Sawyer out of the Program while he wanted to revive his daughter while he was preaching morals to Sawyer but what if there's more to that?
Cause I can imagine that Elliot could've contacted Sawyer's parents about his removal from the Program. Cause you know I think it's kind of responsible thing to do and Elliot still cared about Sawyer.
So imagine if his parents agreed with him and told Elliot that it's fine that he's sending Harley back home. Cause what I'm trying to say is that Elliot was suspicious of Sawyer's home situation and it'd be really messed up if he like send him back home after his parents told him that it's fine and all.
Cause like what if Elliot made that decision despite all the red flags you know? Like he could tell that something was wrong but he ignored it because of his selfish desire to bring back Poppy.
Cause removal from the Program is definitely what broke Sawyer considering the "The Monsters We Make..." note under removal letter.
And like from what we know about Elliot he was definitely depressed and I think he felt guilty about whole situation with Sawyer.
So imagine how messed it'd be if Elliot unintentionally took a part in Sawyer's mind programming by unintentionally triggering it.
I know that this is probably so far fetched but like Sawyer definitely didn't want to go back home (especially if I'm right about that the text in teaser trailer for chapter 5 is about young Harley at YGP) and I just love that Elliot and Sawyer's dynamic is just so tragic and all.
I hope that you don't mind me talking about my hc for Sawyer's childhood considering how heavy this topic is.
But I really wanted to share this with you all guys.
