from heartsignal’s and hyunwoo’s comment pages i found that people have such a biased opinion on what and how a strong woman should be. baffles me that people are hating on hj just because she smiles a lot. dude, if my smile were that pretty, i would smile all the time too. tbh, i found hj much calmer on situations, where if i were her, i’d be furious. she was understanding of dogyuns’ feelings all along and always tried to tone it down because she knew she couldn’t accept his heart. hw disregarded her feelings and yet she was patient with him. she was considerate of jangmi and yj while choosing her last date. she never came in between yj n hw intentionally. when she realised hw wanted yj, she took a step back.
For me, a person is strong when they are capable of understanding and being considerate of other people’s feelings and have the courage to remain calm even when their heart is hurting. i always saw hj’s smile as her coping mechanism. she always made a gloomy environment a little less awkward.
im sure yj is a strong woman too but just because yj fits your criteria of what a strong woman should be and hj doesn’t, doesn’t make hj a little less strong. hj is just as strong and as independent as yj, but in a different way.
sadly a lot of people fail to see this. if only people were less judgemental and more open-minded. sigh.
also, please stop leaving rude comments on hyunwoo’s page. questioning someone’s character based on one decision (a decision that has absolutely nothing to do with you) and a reality show is really unfair.
why do people want to deliberately hurt others and ruin their lives?
