A/N: wrote this bc i had a dream where i was dating a young vic fuentes and we got into an argument, i stormed off and he approached me after i cooled off, he ended up giving me a small trinket (i don’t remember what it was) and idk he was just too cute and sweet w me 🥹

-whenever you and vic talk to others about your love story and how you met it always melts people's hearts, the teen romance and highschool sweethearts story feels like a movie about two soulmates coming together for a lifetime worth of love; it's a story you'll tell to anyone who'll listen and never get tired of re-living in your memories

-on the first day of highschool you and vic ran into each other while trying to find your respective classes, it was love and awkwardness at first sight lol, clumsily apologizing to one another you went on to your first class, somehow it ended up being the same class

-entering the class together you find that the only two seats left are right next to each other at the back of the classroom, it was like fate, as if the universe was pushing you two together; that loud and chaotic morning turned into something straight out of a teen romance flick, you had no choice but to push past the shyness and introduce yourselves

-but, vic beat you to it, he broke the silence and lead the conversation into what ended up being a beautiful but tense friendship; though you two didn't share every class together you had a few, and that was enough to get closer throughout your freshman year

-from walking to class together, saving each other a seat at school assemblies or lunch, you were almost glued at the hip, hanging out after school and studying next to each other only fueled your (and his) feelings of love

-towards the end of freshman year he decided it was time to come clean about his crush towards you, he asked you to meet him after school at a nearby park where he ended up confessing and asking you out on a date; the days of him dreaming about being your boyfriend were over because it had become a reality

-on your first date he brought you a mixtape/cd he'd made for you, full of songs that reminded him of you and other romantic rock and punk songs, he'd made it a couple months after meeting you (when you were still friends) but kept it until he had the courage to ask you out

-after that first date there was a second and a third, in which you two had your first kiss with each other, it was really cute and sweet just like your entire relationship after that; you two would hold hands or link pinkies when walking to school or to class, you'd sit by him while he played guitar to you and sing some of the songs he had written at the time, and everyday you saw him you would find him admiring you from wherever he sat (that never changed)
