could i please request 36 + Youngbin? Thank you for all your writings.

When your boyfriend had asked you to meet him by the riverside for a walk earlier this day, you had immediately agreed. The idea of spending time with him outside and be able to enjoy the sun and fresh air had sounded amazing this morning.

But right now, you are almost regretting ever going outside - it is freezing and you have definitely chosen the wrong coat for today.

“Are you okay?”, Youngbin asks, eyeing you critically. Your lips are trembling and you are suspiciously quiet, something quite unusual for you.

You look up at him and he finally notices that your whole body is shivering. “Not really, I’m freezing!”, you answer, lips protruding to form a small pout. Youngbin chuckles, eyes forming little crescents when he smiles at you. “Aww, come here.”, he murmurs softly and quickly tucks you into his side, sliding one arm around your shoulders.

You sigh, relieved, and snuggle even closer, burying one hand in the pocket of his padded jacket. You already feel better and are finally able to continue your walk, happy and warm again.

[1:22pm] You sat by the window, just out of sight, as Youngbin called up from outside. The heat blazing outdoors oozed in despite your air conditioning, and you nearly got heatstroke just thinking about being out there. You peeked out of your window.

"Y/n, I can see you!"

You tucked yourself back inside, but listened more attentively out of respect for him enduring the sun.

"Listen, I'm not leaving until you come out. I will die here, y/n! You're gonna have to smell my rotting corpse!"

You chuckled before remembering you were mad. As you waited for him to continue yelling, though, the shouting ceased, only to be replaced by the sound of screeching cicadas and rustling branches. Your brow furrowed. The sounds of grunting and shifting leaves seemed to be drawing nearer to your window.

"Y/N!"

You flinched at how close his voice was, and looked out reflexively.

"YOU CLIMBED THE TREE?!"

He looked like a koala bear, clutching onto the branches, dangling just outside your window. Despite how clearly exhausted he was, all sweaty and out of breath, he broke into a giant smile, his eyes crinkling up.

"Finally willing to listen?"

You frowned, but stayed where you were.

"Listen, I'm really sorry. I know you're pissed, and you have a right to be. I just wanted to say," he paused to reposition himself on his branch, "that if you are willing to give me another chance, I wouldn't let that happen again. And, if you don't want to give me another chance, I get it, but I'll love you no matter what."

You groaned, annoyed at how much you loved this dramatic fool. "...Fine, but if you- YOUNGBIN!"

He beamed as the branch broke, and he tumbled through the tree onto the grass below. You ran outside to where he'd fallen, bruises on his arms and twigs in his hair, to find he was still grinning, despite the predicament.

You rolled your eyes as you stuck bandaids on all his scrapes while he pressed cheeky kisses to your forehead.
