My sister @jingaycatalan 's dog, Brego, was barking at something under a tree. My husband thought he found a toad or a snake, so he took a flashlight and checked. He found these cuties instead. I'm not sure if their mother is still alive, but they seem to have fallen from a nest when the wind blew. They'd open their mouth when they see an object draw near, so we fed them chick booster. I think we'll just have to put them back in a nest up the tree in the morning. This isn't the first time we rescued fallen birds. There was a wild pigeon that crashed against the glass window on the 3rd floor. We nurtured him until he was able to fly again. But these chicks are way too young. I have no idea what to do with them except feed them and keep them warm -- away from the dogs, of course!
