TONIGHT: Dinosaur Bones/Young Rival/The Re-Bops/

It's Sunday. The flea market's open. The library's closed. You're likely still in recovery from a late night of drinking or dancing or staying up late and honouring Whitney Houston while youtube-ing her videos or watching The Bodyguard.

Your liver will likely slowly regain consciousness in the next couple hours and you'll want to set it ablaze again after enjoying a lazy dinner. Looking for something great to do tonight? March downtown to the Mansion House for an evening of superior rock and roll.

Doors open at 7pm, and kicking off the night is West Hill's very own The Re-Bops. 

This trio are heavily influenced by '60s garage rock, which is quite evident on their newest single, "Rock n Roll Guitar Man." The song is the first single from their upcoming/soon-to-be relased album Drag Race.

Also making their way to the stage tonight, Hamilton's Rock N Roll Holy Trinity, Young Rival. From what I've heard the band is in the process of creating and finishing their much-anticipated 2012 album. If that's not completely true, then I'm sure they're working on new songs or something equally exciting. 

Check out this teaser of Young Rival's upcoming tour documentary. The doc chronicles the band traveling from Ontario to Canada's West Coast. There are cameos by the gentlemen in Wildlife, Hollerado and the always spectacular Yukon Blonde. The film is currently in the editing process and you can find out more about the project on Last Frame Picture's website. 

And finally, Dinosaur Bones make their return to Niagara after just recently turning four-years-old. Happy Birthday, now pin the tail on the donkey!
