Happy Tender Tuesday my Friends. I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday and truly considered my words regarding taking some risks you wouldn't normally take. Experiences in our lives is the best way to grow in ourselves and in our lives. This quote has been on my mind a lot lately. Specially with so many things in the world that are going on that seem to be making us as humans, look very inhumane. I see online, in many social media platforms, copious amounts of people complaining about a large variety of injustices in our society. Yet very few people take responsibility for their part. They complain how the veterans and elderly get treated by the governments, yet when they pass them in the store struggling to carry their groceries they don't even think to offer a hand. How many of those who complain volunteer their time, perhaps watching a bit less Netflix or TV so they can help make others lives better? I am not saying do not speak out against the injustices you see. All I am saying is next time, before you boldly voice your opinion online or in public, ask yourself what you have done recently to help (and don't make excuses as to why you haven't, own the fact you just haven't... yet ;) ) the situation or circumstance you are complaining about. If more of us took action against the things we felt was hurting this world and decreasing the value of the life we could be living together, instead of just spreading hot air and empty sentences everywhere, we would see a lot more changes! My rule of thumb for myself is this; don't complain unless you plan to do something about it. And you may not believe me right now, but there is always SOMETHING we can do. ;) Perhaps you could simply share smiles today.
