I tell you I miss you because no one else can fill that absense in my heart.

For all those times we were apart,

I couldn't bare hearing anyone mentioning your name,

It was hard enough that I had to be left here in the dark on my own,

I had to have the courage to let you go,

The distance slowly killing me within,

Struggling to find ways to hide the pain,

I'm trying my best to find myself again,

Find my feet so that I continue on this path,

The only thing I could do was hope,

Keep a hold of the remnants that were left behind,

Believing that everything is going be alright,

For I have lost the safety of your love,

I have lost my light...

My absence, a wildfire in your breast

Your eyes, a fountain of hailstones

Your loneliness, a shimmering midnight blue

Anguish in this voiceless emptiness of jazmin mourning in your veins

Abandoned as the marble column of my neck

Grey clouds of grief birth a deluge of cold tears

You fear not annihilation but oblivion.

My lover, I know your sorrow for it is my own.

Separation, a knife that kills us both.
