I‘ve been missing Fatou a lot today (well, tbh every day) so I went through her Instagram. Might have made it worse but I discovered that in S5ep6 after the “concert” at Nora’s Fatou posted a pic and titled it “Almost like space” (the subtle foreshadowing!). Also she was wearing the same top as in the museum date clip 😩🥺 Aaaaah I just miss her so much 😭

rose hc no 3 she hates getting roses on her bday bc she thinks it’s cliche, mickey always gave her roses cause he thought it was cute (baby boy) but what sweeps rose off her feet with the doctor is for her bday he gets her a bunch of exotic things extraterrestrial flowers. not roses

okay, not to get too sappy, but one birthday, the doctor totally brings back the tardis greenhouse that he used to keep a few bodies ago, and he has rose close her eyes and he guides her in and... it’s filled with so many flowers from so many different planets!! and there are different biomes and some of the flowers are, like, suspended in zero gravity or spheres with tons and tons of nitrogen or whatever specific conditions these flowers need. just. SO MANY KINDS. it’s this amazing wilderness of plant life and green and growing things, and some flowers glow and some of them only bloom at night and they’re all totally unique!!

and rose is like, “i can’t believe... you did all of this... for me.” and the doctor has to admit that he basically did it because he’s indecisive and couldn’t figure out what kind of bouquet she’d want for her birthday, so he became a green thumb again.
