Here Brennen is demonstrating an excellent way to challenge the function of the shoulder while controlling the dynamic weight of the rope. The trick is to step away from the anchor of the rope to where the athlete can try to keep the length of the rope off the floor throughout the movement of the press. Athlete should feel a challenge around the shoulder blade.
