Forgive me if this is a bit on the strange side, but someone gave me this bracelet about a week ago, and it reminds me so much of Vein.
Do you think Vein would make something like this for his Feifei because he's so soft on him, or do you think Feifei woukd make something like this for his Vein because he admires him and it matches his style?
I just have been going back and forth ever since I got this, and thought I'd share my thoughts, since you're the one who got me into Veinfei ☺️

Hmmm we don’t know enough about either Vein or Xia Fei as individuals. I’m not really sure which one would be into crafts or is just sentimental or romantic enough to try making something from scratch for their beloved.
However, I do think Vein would be more skilled in weaving bracelets like that. I’ve made similar stuff before, and they require a lot of patience and delicacy. If you don’t pull on the threads hard enough, they come loose. But if you pull them too hard, the whole thing ends up becoming too stiff. And if you’re new to the whole weaving thing, you really have to pay attention to avoid messing up the pattern. Going back to fix things is also such a hassle.
For such fine work involving repetitive actions and a lot of time and attention, Vein can probably do it better than Xia Fei, who has been portrayed to be more impatient or reckless. But the question is whether he actually would. I headcanon Vein as the type to just buy ready-made stuff or have his jewelry custom-made at some high-end shop.
Xia Fei, on the other hand, can’t afford such luxuries, so I can see him as the one who’d think about giving Vein something like this. Like, what else can he give him when Vein already has everything?
But as I said, he’s gonna be bad at weaving it. It’s probably gonna take him several tries before he gets it right. Even after it’s done, he hesitates giving it to laoban, fearing that it might appear cheap. I bet he even decides against giving it.
But Xia Fei is an open book, and Vein can read him best. Upon learning about the bracelet, Vein is gonna pry it out of his Felix’s hands. It’s his now. Not even Felix can take it away from him.
