I am so full of love for all the people I got to meet this weekend. Some of them again and some of them for the first time. I can’t even begin to imagine how different my life would be right now if I hadn’t decided to start studying Swedish on a whim and then picked to watch Young Royals as language practice.

Love you all. Finally an in-person meeting (and writing session) with the YR office. The memories we’ve made will sustain me through the next few weeks (and until we meet again) 💜💜

It is hard having a/my job on days like this. I don’t have a job where I can’t be 100% present. With the yr season 3 dates announcement I am VERY distracted (and I am very busy today). I want to play! I desperately want to be in the young royals office where everyone’s phones are pinging and there is joy and speculation and everything is a buzz!! I don’t have anyone in my personal life who has this beautiful obsession, so today especially I am thankful for this little tumblr world.

Sorry for being sappy on main. I promise it won’t happen again for another year.

As the year is approaching its end I wanted to take the time to thank every single one of you for making the YR fandom what it is. I’ve never been in a fandom more welcoming and loving than this. Never experienced such a positive community.

I fear that I’ll forget people, so I won’t tag anyone specifically. I’d rather just give a broad thank you to everyone who contributes in whichever way they feel comfortable with.

I just saw a man throwing frisbees in the park today. Very normal, right? Right.

But instead of thinking “Oh, look, there’s a man, throwing frisbees.” my head immediately went “Okay, but what if that’s Wille and he accidentally hits Simon, who starts bleeding profusely from a shallow head wound, and then…” and came up with this very stupid but complete storyline. (And no it couldn’t have been Simon throwing the frisbee- we all know his aim is way better than Wille’s. He only would’ve hit Wille if he’d intended to. And yes, I’ve thought this through.)

But what I’m really trying to say is…

Look. I blame the YR office for this. I somehow got locked in there yesterday because when I wanted to leave, the door wouldn't open. So, I wrote this instead. I take no responsibilty. Just trying to live up to my title as resident horse expert, I guess.

So the YR headquarters might have convinced themselves that we could actually pull off a Young Royals Convention. And I need to hold on to that idea now to get me through the day.
