Authors, I am fucking begging you to look up the definition of "erstwhile" before you use it to mean "reluctant" or "hesitant" or "current" or whatever the bloody fucking hell you think it means. I spend so much time trying desperately to deduce from context what the fuck it is supposed to mean, because you clearly don't mean its actual meaning, you mean something else. What else? She still gets this dialogue too. Nothing indicating she was being compelled to act, just Kris being bossy. Almost like, apart from ensuring their Commands are heard (even if Kris is Down), there's nothing special about their SOUL that compels allies to obey. It's literally just talking, and maybe illusions for ACTs (since Kris's ACTs tend to be the only ones that cause a costume change)
