Just realized something, the sibling duo of Redson and Yue along with Mei/Xiaojiao and MK/Xiaotian funnily enough have the same type as their sibling. Like Redson and Yue has a type for ADHD chaotic sweetheart while Mei and MK has a type for the autistic bookworm from a royal blood line. I wonder if they realize how each are more alike then they thought, it's giving "whatcha got there?" "Same as you" and I love this so much 🤣🤣🤭

Xiaotian and Xiaojiao would've canonically had a silly little "same hat"! moment if things didn't go south. They'd be *insistent* on having double-date hangouts and their autistic bookworm prince(ss) would be along for the ride.

Unfortunately...since Dragonfruit got together a bit after the Battle Against LBD, Xiaotian no longer had his hat. And seeing Xiaojiao with her own hat made him miss his hat even more.

(Ok, I'm letting the metaphor get away from me.)

MK and Mei would have their chance to go "same hat"! Maybe. Or maybe it'll be Red's turn to miss his hat (wife) while Yuetian reconnect and restart their relationship. Who knows?

The last chapter was so good so I just had to draw the scene where Xiaotian absolutely freaks out about a male yue! My human design for yue has freckles where her face markings are.

I plan to work on the reverse of this scene eventually.

I had fun with this but I never want to render metal again..😰

Just wanna share a silly funny thought in my head, imagine what the mythology (or is it like the history?) of Yue in queen of the mountain, like i mean the overly sarcastic summary and the mythology guy videos where they retelling the myths. I just love the thought of like imagining like the journey to the west is still well known in that world but the twist is is that that whole story of 100 chapters shenanigans is was just a side plot and context just who Wukong is to establish just where Yue inherited her shenanigans magnet from her own story, i could just imagine after like an hours worth of summary of journey to the west and it ends with act 2 with “and so with that, that was the tragic tale of journey to the west. . . . . Which is actually just an prequel cause the real story isn’t even about this whole journey!” And could you just imagine the memes in that world about Yue’s journey cause JOTW was already meme worthy so imagine how Yue’s story is going to memed, just a few on top of my head is that “for you see, just like any good story about a chaotic neutral guy with a danger is that, if you want to tame them, is by making them girldads and watch them as they would literally move heaven and earth for them”, “somehow for beings who are milennias old, somehow the one who is the most sensible and reasonable, is a child that’s a fraction their age” and also “and it’s just like always, somehow, heaven still wants to fuck around and find out (which pretty much summarizes Yue’s entire journey)”. And i just know when all of this is over and Yue finally is able to be official with Xiaotian/MK there’s gonna be a meme about how MK is bagging the baddest queen of the world and i just know he wore it like a badge of honor.

Also just wanna add this but i don’t know why but Xiaotian/MK x Yue is giving ADHD x Autistic couple goals and I’m absolutely loving that thpught!

Lmao, look, the world is your oyster, especially when Act III is set in a modern-ish world with the internet. Who's to say there aren't already people making summary videos of Monkey King lore and myth after Yue became internet famous? She already has a huge fanbase - especially among the sealmaker community.

Wukong would DEF be cemented as THE girl dad of Chinese myth. And he'd wear the label with pride.
