Mike: [sigh] I’m hungryyy... Kai, give me something
Kai: Didn’t you say earlier that you had an early lunch in the dressing room and ate a bunch of onigiri? You still want to eat?
Mike: It’s still not enough. I work out so much that if I don’t eat well, I’ll start losing healthy weight quickly
Kai: Hehe! Except for on Archaeology Club days, you’re working pretty hard at soccer, huh? I figured “maybe he’d get hungry in the middle of the contest~”, so I made you an extra lunch. I’ll give it to you later
Mike: What the hell? If you had something, you should’ve given it to me from the beginning. It’s lunchtime now. I’m sure you have it in the dressing room
Kai: STOP STOP! Wait, Mike-kun! You forgot to comment on your impressions!
Mike: Hah? Ah, right. You have to give your impressions on your song or you won’t be able to leave. Um, is...this the microphone? Are you already recording? Oh, right now. [clears throat] Hello! I am Enjoji Mike, a 2nd year member of the Archaeology Club and Soccer Club
Kai: And I’m Akizuki Kai, a 1st year! Like Mike-kun, I’m also in the Archaeology Club!~
Mike [quietly]: ...! Hey, don’t call me by that name...! They’re going to broadcast this, so quit it...!
Kai: Ah, that’s right. [nervous laugh] Hahahaha... E...Enjoji-senpai? I’m not used to calling you that, so it sounds weird, doesn’t it?
Mike [nervously]: U-uhm... Anyways, we sang a song called “Checkmate”. Kai and I practiced together a lot, and I think we did a reasonably good job
Kai: It was Mike-ku- no... Enjoji-senpai who decided on the song. It’s more of a solo song, but we made it into a duet. With that being said, I thought it was nice to hear the song in a new and unique way
[pause for the interviewer to ask a question]
Mike: Eh? Is that why we put this duo together? [quickly] No, not particularly
Kai: It wasn’t particular?
Mike [exasperated]: Of course not. Kai kept throwing a tantrum insisting that we participate in the contest, so I had no choice but to enter. [sigh] He really is such a kid
Kai: That’s mean! You get club points out of it, so isn’t it fine? Besides, it was interesting seeing so many other people from different clubs. Even Enjoji-senpai had fun, didn’t you?
Mike: I guess so. I enjoyed it, for what it was
Kai: Eh~? You were pretty excited~
Mike [mad as hell]: Ha? Wha~t did you just say?
Kai: Hahahaha! I had a great time! I’d love to do another duet in the next contest
Mike [weakly]: I hope they’ll let me sit out next time. Our club earns club points consistently, so there’s no reason for us to be in these competitions. Kai can earn points by making curry, so I’d like him to focus on that
Kai: Making curry is a hobby, so it’s different. I’m not making it because I want points
Mike: You’re always saying that, but you made curry for the Archaeology Club’s booth at the school festival a while ago
Kai: But wasn’t that because there was nothing to do behind the scenes at the festival? Mike-ku- Enjoji-senpai also complained that he didn’t just want to put rocks on a table
Mike: Well, of course. It’s not like we’re kindergarteners playing store
Kai: [chuckles] Hehehe, that’s true, isn’t it?
Mike: But since I participated, even if I don’t win, there’s still a chance I’ll earn points and I’d like to take what I can get
Kai: Yeah! It would be nice to get some kind of award!
Mike: Our performance wasn’t bad. We’ll probably get around one thousand
Kai: You’re so confident!
Mike [proudly]: Of course I’d be! Now then, I think it’s about time we start wrapping up the interview, wouldn’t you agree?
Kai: Are we done already? You didn’t say much about the song... You really can’t wait to get back to the dressing room, huh~?
Mike [murderous intent]: Kai...
Kai: Alright, alright. Well then, thank you all for listening!
Mike: Thank you! ^^; Now, if you’ll excuse us
[they walk away]
Mike [fuming]: HEY, YOU DAMN DOG! Not only were you making fun of me in front of the microphone, but you also kept calling me “Mike” over and over again! You MONGREL! STUPID DOG!!! Why can’t you learn for once?!
Kai: Ngah~ah sorry sorry! 🥺 It’s just that it’s hard to suddenly change what you call someone...
[their voices start becoming more distant as they continue to walk]
Mike: I’ll be taking all of your lunches as punishment. Would that suffice?
Kai: Ahahahaha, you really want to eat lunch, don’t you?
Mike: I guess the hungrier I get, the worse I feel. Let’s get a move on!
Kai: Okaaay~! After we finish eating, let’s go listen to Chiguman-senpai sing!
Since it's a scout, the line isn't completely voiced, but the thing that is funny is because of their voice actors
Natsume is voiced by Kenji Nojima
While
Koga is voiced by Yuki Ono
So for those who recognized the voice it's kinda funny because in another universe Kenji character would have never said that (directly) to Yūki characters face
And for those who don't understand just by the VA's name there you go
But let's be honest. Clavis could say, what Natsume said, to Chevalier. (He would love it, in fact) So even if the line isn't completely voiced, I'm just imagining
This video has been in my "watch later" list for who knows how any years... FINALLY got to watch it and I was SO happily surprised when they blink and mouth move when they talk! :D I expected them to be "still" and maybe even voiceless but HOHOOO! They are NOT! :D
Also, got good laughs from what little I understood about their conversation :D
turns out that the kid is not, in fact, fuku suzuki’s younger brother

Looking at the Next Episode
Rakia’s part-time work arc will continue in the next episode. The script is written by Nobuhiro Mouri, and the director is Takayuki Shibasaki, who filmed Vram’s debut episode. This “Happy Parade” work arc is good! Sachika, the president who delivers happiness, is also plenty active. Nozomi Miyabe’s friendly smile is wonderful. Next episode has scenes that Director Shibasaki was very picky about. Please look forward to it. This is an episode written by Mouri, who last wrote the “Gift of the Magi” episodes at the end of the year. I somehow feel a heartwarming flavor in these episode, too. Next episode will have turmoil for Koji. What will Rakia do?
And Valen/Hanto… His transformation and action were both cool, and it’s good that he’s become strong, but Suga’s smile is unsettling. The subtitle, “Virtual Happiness Tastes of Honey,” was intended to be about virtual images and the favorite food of rhinoceros beetles, but… it seems to take on another meaning as well. The next subtitle… may have a similar meaning to it. 🍮 Aren’t there a lot of subtitles that talk about pudding? (This is the third episode with it, the fourth if you count the caramel reference)
The producers each put in their own ideas for the episode titles, and it’s decided with something like a final vote. Some other ideas for episode 25 were, “Transformations Are After the Tea Party”, “Boy Meets Granute” [TN: yes that was in katakana i’m pretty sure it’s referencing “Boy Meets World”], “A Dangerously Sweet Stream”, and “A Boring Part-time Job”. We come up with ten or more ideas. Look forward to the next episode’s rage-filled pudding!

The Episode in Short
Thank you for watching episode 25! Although Shoma has obtained the power of Blizzard Sorbet, he’s still not back to full health. Meanwhile, Hanto is distancing himself from Shoma since learning the truth about his mother, and Rakia has acquainted himself with Sachika and begun to familiarize himself with the human world…
It’s already been half a year since the start of broadcast (!), but the relationships between the show’s characters will still continue to change, so please don’t miss any episode!
Bright New Talent - Happy Parade Debut!
Just as Rakia thought he was ready for spring, he received an excited summer break-like invitation to come eat ice cream, and went to the Happy Parade.
Aren’t they getting well accustomed!? (The people in the photos)
And then his favorite food is established.
Rocks.
Shoji, you became a rock five years ago, and now you’re eating them… you’re always up to something with them. For filming, we’re using candies that resemble rocks, but the sound of him biting in with a crunch was extremely satisfying.
Rakia decides to start a test job after Shoma used his usual negotiation skills and told him that “if you make money, we’ll get you delicious rocks to eat”. A promising newcomer (at 188 cm tall) has arrived to work at the Hapipare with its president!
The uniform that Shoma uses is ankle-length for him (Laugh).
Work conduct is also important…! Client, president, I’m sorry.
When Rakia lies down and fits properly, you can see that “oh, the width here is about 190 centimeters”. …Though, I don’t know what to do with that information (Laugh).
It doesn’t seem like it’s that painful to just stand in line for your job.
He’s waiting in line patiently, but it seems like he still doesn’t quite understand why humans are so passionate about sweets.
Rakia’s first client for a solo job, Koji, is played by Ayumi Yokohama.
This is a series where we see actors quickly develop starting from a young age and grow some kind of bond with them. He was able to play Koji, who is at the height of his adolescence!
The slightly blunt Koji and the ever low-energy Rakia make for an odd pair.
But, contrary to expectations, the sweets-loving Koji might feel like a little brother to him…
Koji ignored Rakia’s warning that it’s dangerous and came to meet anyway, but just as we feared, the Granute “L’Beed” (??) had taken over his popular streaming channel “Kabuto Man”, and was luring in people!
This Granute’s motif is that of a rhinoceros beetle, which has tough armor. However, lost his ability to change into a human form (Mimic Key), so he came up with the extremely flexible plan to do it virtually!
We wanted Kabuto Man to charm his viewers with an attractive male voice, so we got Yuki Ono to voice act him! His balance between charm and scariness is incredible. He did Kyuranger with Director Shibasaki, so they have an amazing connection.
The story behind the creation of Kabuto Man’s beautiful avatar will be revealed in the next episode’s post-broadcast blog!
Rakia arrives with very heroic timing to end the first episode of the pair. 🍮 Can’t we get a taste of it?!? What about us!! [?]
A parallel universe where the director then comes to save Rakia.
Before this point where he seems to transform into Vram, he was in many somewhat random battles involving Gavv, Glotta, Valen, and Bitter Gavv, so this is the first time he’s fought against Stomach Company part-timers like Shoma and Hanto have.
At the scriptwriting meetings, we had many discussions about what would cause him to decide to fight a Granute who is currently taking the same path that Comel followed.
Are you going to actually transform into Vram…?
Rakia is angered by L’Beed’s words! How will their battle end?
Chocold Rush!
The veteran worker isn’t in good condition, so he’s working diligently on something else.
Director Shibasaki is also helping.
The first one to respond to news of Bitter Gavv reappearing yet again is Valen Chocold Form, who successfully destroyed a Granute by himself last episode.
He seems to display a whole new level of power.
What? “Should he be using it this much, with no thought of the risks?”
…I do wonder..
Shoma and Hanto have separated once, and the distance between them isn’t getting any shorter. It feels like the difference in color is also gradually increasing.
Hino, whose independent scenes have increased, seems a little happy that he can occasionally be with everyone. ☺️
Gavv fights with all his energy despite his poor health, but the ice cream melts…! It mercilessly melts with the passage of time, even in the middle of a battle.
And the one to take over the fight against Bitter Gavv is…
Valen again! Isn’t the transformation where he hits the wall so cool?
Battle scenes in cramped spaces are a specialty of Action Director Fujita’s.
The scenes where oil drums, barrels, lumber, and other objects that would likely be in that place, are used for attacks are exciting and full of realism. The actors have amazing physical strength, with how they make so many poses that use metal rods or wires one after another.
It also feels like Valen is using his gun more aggressively than normal. He exudes strength by keeping up the battle at his own pace, like he’s not even using his full power.
But…
See, I told you it has some kind of bad influence…!!! I’m extremely worried about Hanty’s heart and lungs… [TN: they made a pun on “heart and lungs” and “worry” both being “shinpai”. i’m not going to try and localize it.]
Ack, please stop throwing metal drums every time we talk about something boring…!
Please look forward to Rakia’s work next week as well.
