tried my hand at a more detailed background - i did copy a bob ross tutorial, but i think it went well regardless! (hence the more simplified outfits)

i’m also finally kind of catching up - if i do two tomorrow i’ll be all caught up, and god that’ll be a load off my shoulders. i love doing these but it’s exhausting to spend 6-8 hours just in paint tool sai, y’know?

Just for fun, I’m listening to resurrectedreplayer while I write this by pure coincidence - not the most appropriate song but the title fits anyway (the actual track in the game should actually be A Wonderful Story so feel free to put that on if you’d like to instead). also tw for emetophobia

For a moment, Shuichi thought he had been blinded. The figure standing proud at the podium had shifted once again in a bombastic flash of white and yellow, and then his eyes had filled with painful, bitter tears. Somewhere beside him, he heard Himiko cry out like she had been slapped.

“It’s just as I said before! Let’s make this school a wonderful paradise, together!”

“No… no no no no no… no no no no no -”

“Atua says,” Angie Yonaga cooed over Himiko, whose knees had started knocking together, “that it isn’t too late for us all to cooperate! If we can come together now, after all of this hardship, you will all surely be blessed!”

“That’s not - Angie, Himiko.” Maki’s voice shook with effort. It sounded so, so far away, lost to the sound of his [fictional] blood pumping in his ears. “It’s not Angie - you know that -”

“I know,” Himiko babbled, “I know it isn’t, it can’t be, it, it can’t be -”

There was another flurry of clothing, and Tenko emerged from it with a squeal of excitement. “Just like that, Himiko! Finally, you’re expressing yourself - I’m so proud of you! Ooh, even Himiko’s despairing face is cute!”

Himiko let out a pained whine like a deflating balloon and threw up on her podium.

Maki and K1-b0 shouted for her. Shuichi should have - meant to - but his voice had died in his throat. His entire body had shut down in silent horror. Kaede’s presence should have been a comfort to him; a grounding presence. It had been, when they had discovered the first body. This time, it wasn’t.

“We should just stay together!” she said, pumping her fists. “You’ve found the truth of this world, just like you promised. Isn’t that enough?”

The figure Angie had made of her had lacked the warmth of the real Kaede. This imitation should have been the same. So why? Why did looking at her like this make him tremble?

“Even if the truth was just a big lie after all,” Kokichi added cheerfully. “Lies have never been the enemy. Y’know, especially seeing that some of your best friends were lies ~ and that’s the truth! You understand that now, don’t you?”

I failed you, Shuichi wanted to say. The portrait of the real Kokichi Ouma stared him down with that same inscrutable smile beside where Himiko wept. I failed you so, so badly. What would you do if you were here?

… What would he do -

“You bitch!” Shuichi flinched and squeezed his eyes shut, Maki’s shriek ringing in his ears. “I’ll kill you - !”

“C’mon, don’t be like that.” Shuichi didn’t have to look. He didn’t need to look. The strength that voice filled him with was familiar - and a goddamn lie, like everything else. “You don’t have to think hard about it. Let me take the responsibility of the decision off your shoulders, like a real hero should.”

He shook. He opened his eyes despite his better judgment, and the wavering, blurred figure shot him a winning smile and a thumbs-up. Shuichi choked.

“Hey, Shuichi? Harumaki? Let’s stay together. I want us to stay… together.”

so firstly, its kaedes server and she asked everyone what colour they want their names to be and made them all a special role to put their name as the colour they wanted !

she also made all the channels v organised as like a general, vent, memes, animal pics, art, ect

she also made a general voice chat, and a music voice chat for sharing singing or playing instruments !! 

whenever kaedes in the music voice chat (which is a lot) tenko always goes in n listens to her paino playing n compliments her a lot after shes finished !!!

himiko hardly ever goes in voice chat bc of her anxiety but also her she makes a few typos and cant be asked to correct them so sometimes ur reading her messages like ???? idk what shes trying 2 say

also tenko and angie hav p much mastered understanding her typos !

also tenko has made a server of just the girls in the whole server !!!! shes given everyone sweet roles and colours they wanted 

at the beginning shuichi never joined voice chat bc anxiety, but as he warmed up and started getting a bit better with his anxiety altho not fully, he joins voice chat every now and then

at the beginning maki was hardly online and everyone was making jokes abt w/e she comes online they all go “cryptid spotted” but now shes warmed up to most of them shes online more !!!!

angie p much always adds explanation points after all her sentences 

angie is also almost on a weird times (for her, since shes not from japan but idk where shes from,, rip) like 3am for her so ppl think she never sleeps

once angie randomly said “is the earth flat ? discuss” in a genuine question but she pretty much started a week long argument with everyone abt if the earth is flat

maki and kirumi warmed up to each other surprisingly quickly, n they video chat on skype sometimes 

kirumis p busy but she still tries 2 make time to get on for a bit

usually angie, kokichi or like. korekiyo wld say smth rlly odd/weird that makes the whole chat start typing their response to it

Shuichi finds Himiko waiting, so that she can tell Angie something important when she finally wakes up.

Shuichi volunteered to find Himiko, when Kaito suggested that they have dinner together. It was a nice gesture, though the smell that came from the kitchen was rather dubious. Regardless, they could probably use the chance to eat together, like they had back in the killing game.

“Thanks, bro. See if you can drag Kokichi’s ass out here while you’re at it. He can’t stay in his room all day.”

He turned his face away from Kaito’s smile, guilt welling up in his chest. Kaito would have a better chance of getting Kokichi out, but Shuichi wasn’t about to refuse him.
