Oreo Christmas Truffles

Oreo Christmas Truffles

1 Package Oreo Cookies

1 8 oz package cream cheese 

1 package ghirardelli semi sweet chocolate. 

Sparkles and stuff to decorate your truffles. :l

DO NOT EAT YOUR OREOS BRO. :l

Step 1. Take out your food processor, take all but 9 cookies, and half them, like separate the cookie from the cookie and drop them in, I did mine in about batches of 10 or so to make sure the food processor got to chunk them all up. 

Step 2: Drop that delicious cream cheese in a big mixing bowl.

Step 3: Drop that fine oreo dust into the cream cheese. NO CHUNKS LEFT. Just oreo dust. :l okay?

Step 4: Take those 9 bad boys you haven't ground into fine dust, shove them into a plastic bag, seal it, make sure all the air is gone. Go kung fu on that bag like a ninja. 

Step 5: get your mixer out, mix all your fine oreo dust and cream cheese together. Once its all blended, hand mix in your chunky oreos. :D

Step 6: Roll into tiny balls (pop them in the fridge or freezer, until firm.) I found that if you skip this step they sort of fall apart in your chocolate.

Step 7: MELT YOUR CHCOLATECHIPS. I don't have anything fancy, a bowl over a steaming pot of water is perfect, though. Plop the oreo balls in, coat them, put them on a sheet of tinfoil, decorate them with sprinkles and stuff before you let them dry. Shove them in the freezer. They will peel off the tinfoil after they are frozen. :D ENJOY!
