Just because this in the internet doesn’t mean punctuation is optional. When you don’t separate your sentences and use proper punctuation, it’s a bitch to make heads or tails of what your trying to say and makes me eyeroll my opinion of you down to zero. No one who can’t be arsed to hit the key…

hey-o unpopular opinion time:

languages evolve constantly, ‘proper’ english varies wildly by location and social group, and grammar rules are often arcane and arbitrary in nature.

IA that legibility is an important factor of stylistic choices when writing, but you should also be aware that lack of ‘proper’ grammar is often used on the internet to convey a casual or friendly tone.

this can be difficult for ESL speakers to understand, which again goes back to the necessity of legibility.

but TBH if you’re judging someone solely on outdated grammar in a casual, non-professional environment where you have no idea of their life or health circumstances…i have little regard for your opinion anyway.

it’s all well and good to enjoy using ‘proper’ grammar, and even to wish it was enforced on the site (which does have rules about those sorts of things!) but being mean about it off the site is silly, and wishing physical violence upon people is out of line.

I actually think that Slash is doing something that is great for the site. Not only has Slash hired someone who wants to help, but they also are highly intelligent and know what they are doing. :) User Experience is a real thing and its super important to the site, ". User experience highlights the experiential,affective, meaningful and valuable aspects of human-computer interaction;and product ownership." Hinata is going to help improve the site overall, and I think that its great, and that she is a really Valuable member to the aywas team and community.

Just to be clear, is it one act per entering user or one act per person given to? (E.g. if I give user 1 something and user 2 something, is that two tickets for me?) And would giving your entry to another user count as a good deed? Infinite tickets! :P

Is this at all retroactive? I just gave Holland the 1 GP she was short for a PSD she wanted this morning at like 11:30 (I can screenshot it from my bank with the silly message lmao xD). I also gave a newbie a reve they wanted last night because they mentioned on the newspost that they were saving for x reve but now all their money went into the bottled starlight raffle.

Either way, I have definite accessible proof from the thing with holland earlier, and she has proof of buying me a PSD on saturday when I was out all day and almost missed the one I was lurking for :’D It’s cool if it isn’t retroactive, I can just go be santa to someone else, I just figured it was worth asking about. ^^

Disappointed in my hbc breeding :\ I wish the artist would have used some of both parents markings and carried over colors better. I'm not a big fan of the head edit also. :C I'm sure who ever worked on this did their very best, but I'm just sad that they didn't even try and combine the parents better.
