"Rhea, can you get the numbers from Budgeting?" Hero asked as he leaned around his cubicle.

"Already got them!"

Hero gritted his teeth, Rhea, or Villain, had this annoying little habit of being so damn good at her job, an annoying habit that made it unfair to dislike her as much as he did.

Villain had only worked in his department for a month now, yet the speed she learned the position and got her work done just ticked him off.

She somehow had the uncanny ability to be an absolute airhead, yet still be the most valuable employee on the floor.

His chair squeaked as he stood, entering her cubicle, "Show me," disbelief in his tone, he wasn't one to just let people off easy.

A few clicks later, and the spreadsheet containing all the numbers popped up.

"And this is from this quarter?"

Her voice was a timid squeak when she spoke, "Yep!"

He raised his eyebrow at her tone, but didn't question it, "And this includes all the adjustments for last month?"

"Mhm!" She spoke even quicker.

"And you're good to send this in an email to HR?"

She nodded frantically, and that's when he spared her a glance, her face red, eyes wide, "What's your problem?"

"N-nothing! You're just um..."

"What?" He bit.

"You're just really close to me right now!"

It was then that he noticed his hand on the back of her chair, the other on her desk, essentially boxing her in, and how their faces were inches apart.

He quickly snapped away, standing up, "Sorry." He smoothed out his button-up.

"N-no prob!"

They stared at each other for an awkward moment, "Alright then."

He rolled his chair back up to his desk and silently wondered if he could give himself amnesia if he banged his head hard enough on his desk.

A moment later, Villain's head popped around the side of his divider, "Hey, who do I send the email to?"

He sat deathly still for a moment, wondering how the hell someone could be so detrimentally stupid, before sighing, "I need more coffee."

ever wanted a chocolatey snack and don't wanna put effort much effort into baking a whole pan of brownies? well well well..

mix 4 tbsp four, 3 tbsp sugar, and 2 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened). then add 2 tbsp each of water and oil, mix again.

put that bad boy in the microwave for 1.5 minutes and nom nom

I honestly love Mr. Laveau's sound design/effects so much. Good sound effect will always make a video so much better. And the choices for background music are always bangers 😼.

My absolute go-to when I need a soda fix.

There's something lovely about the earthy, semi-sweet, minty, tree-barky taste.

I want to try more tree sodas! I want to try maple and pine soda! I heard that pine soda tastes like 7Up which is somewhat disappointing. I hoped it would taste more like pine? XD
