i cannot stop drawing and thinking about my ocs as of recent
so i thought i would share with the class perhaps it'll be interesting to someone and ill finally have the motive to make a comic for them

Fletcher - age 22, archer, makes leather armor for the group, wind magic (uses enchanted amethyst for increased power and accuracy), confident, independent, aroace
Harper - age 24, tank of the team (very strong), has no magical abilities, outgoing party-type personality, cares deeply for others, can be quite a perfectionist at times, pan, crush on Katie
Blaze - age 16, basically like a stray cat Fletcher and Harper found and adopted into their group and now they're all a sibling type dynamic, fae with unknown magic type as his wings are gone (uses enchanted labradorite to reduce his magic), trust issues, high-key a thief, has a crush on Ivory (after becoming friends), bi
this is a short comic i did of Fletcher and Blaze to get a feel for their dynamic cuz they're probably one of my favorites between all the characters

Katie - age 22, alchemist, fae (uses her magic to assist with potion making, uses enchanted topaz and green apatite weaved in her waist chain to help with precision), fun fact the tips of her hair are dyed cuz she keeps accidentally dipping it in her potions, shy but opens up a bit after getting to know her, has a crush on Harper, transfem
Ivory "Rory" - age 17, fae royalty, ice magic (uses enchanted sapphire to help with balance and strength of magic), cold exterior softie when you get to know him, naturally has curly hair but forced to wear it straight when he has to do princely duties, has a crush on Blaze (first meeting, initiates friendship), gay

the magic system, if it wasn't clear, is connected to geology and nature heavily. mostly minerals n crystals and how they're enchanted to provide different ways of using magic, but also some being connected to the weather, celestial stuff, temperature, or even atoms.
mostly fae have magic due to their wings regulating it naturally, though it's not uncommon for non-fae to also have magic. like Fletcher, he has wind powers that depend on how strong the winds are to determine how strong his abilities are. he was able to get an enchanted mineral to help with that regulation when he first discovered that he had fae abilities. usually this is the case with non-fae as to prevent absolute chaos. it's quite easy to get a weaker enchant luckily for these exact situations.
also the world is on floating islands above a void that no one is allowed to go in and there's giant insects as obstacles for the main cast. and i like to think the plant life is mostly reds/purples instead of green cuz it's more fun that way.
