Stella City was a cultural marvel.
It felt as though you could visit the world just going down one street, and that was exactly what Hajime was doing today. She had already hit a couple of shops in her last hour here, and as she walked now, she had katsudon on a stick in one hand, and taro boba in the other. The young girl simply couldn’t look more delighted.
She was making her way to a bench to sit and eat her food when a heavenly smell distracted her. It seemed to be coming from the Russian restaurant a couple steps before her, and as she peered in, she saw them. These little baked, maybe fried buns that smelled like both bread and meat and she just had to have one.
Once inside, she inquired about the name of the delightful food. Pirozhki, the vendor said, and there was absolutely no way she was going to be able to say it.
“Pie...rogi? Pirosh. Pierosh? Ki?”
She simply couldn’t do it, but she sure was holding up the line...
