What movie genres do some of your OCs like and dislike?

i'm not super well-versed in every subgenre of movies, but here are the ones that I think are notable!

augusta likes westerns

babette is very into horror

honeydew quite likes romcoms. forces basil to watch them with her.

briar likes anime movies made for kids, like pokémon

meizhen loves animated movies. she loves older disney

abigail likes any religious (christian) movie

dani likes documentaries. boomer.

gustavo and zema watch true crime movies together

kaspar tries to watch horror with babs, but gets scared too easily. enjoys animated movies much more

kitty doesn't watch movies, but they'd definitely watch every minute of an animated stick video for toddlers

Can we just talk about how cute Yuri and Guang Hong would be together?

I mean…you’ve got the cute, sweet, “when I’m not skating, I’m fangirling” cinnamon roll…

…and you have the angry, insecure underneath, “I will fuck you up if you breathe too close to me” cinnamon roll…

They’re like the chocolate vanilla swirl of yoi.

Headcanons:

They probably knew each other way before the show actually takes place. Yuri is 15 and Guang Hong is 18, so they might have competed against each other in Juniors.

Whether they actually were friends or not, at least to me, there’s a slight chance. But they actually see each other at an event for the first time and it starts snowballing. Guang Hong would probably see Yuri out of his eye and see how much he’s changed over the years and just instantly find him cute with his white blonde hair and green eyes. (Seriously, who isn’t at least somewhat attracted to Yuri Plisetsky??) Yuri would catch him staring and just yell, “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!” The precious Chinese cinnamon roll would probably blush and turn away because he didn’t mean to piss Yuri off.

When they actually start talking, Guang Hong is really quiet around Yuri at first because he thinks Yuri is always a loose cannon. Yuri reassures him that he isn’t by constantly trying to nudge him into speaking.

It almost becomes Yuri’s mission in life over a few years to protect this beautiful cinnamon roll from all the antis in the world (seriously, is there anyone who hates Guang Hong? I mean, he’s precious.)

Guang Hong teaches Yuri to be a bit looser. He teaches him how to relax and let go. To just be…content.

Once Yuri has grown some, he likes to rest his chin on the top of Guang Hong’s head all the time while he hugs him from behind. Doesn’t matter what Guang Hong is doing. Homework? Cooking? Skating competition? Showering? Yuri doesn’t give a fuck where they are, he likes feeling Guang Hong close to him.

Guang Hong definitely social media stalked Yuri for years until they actually got closer. He’d always be calling up Leo and Phichit to squeal to them about how sexy Yuri looked in the picture of him with Potya.

I could list so many more headcanons right now, but I think I might actually scream if I list more right now.
