Now that the Canto 9 Teaser Trailer has released, I have seen many people asking questions about it. Is Yuzuki okay? Who is that purple guy? Why is Roland there? I am here to help answer those questions and assuage the fear of not knowing. I am a Faust, and I know Kim Jihoon. I know things about Canto 9. AMA!
concept regarding Ryoshu and Yuzuki, based on how Limbus Company in particular has treated characters taking on the names of others... i think it's really unlikely that Ryoshu's child (biological or not) will be named Yuzuki, i think we kinda easily forget that's from a theatre version of the story and Yoshihide's daughter is usually unnamed and the name Yuzuki is mostly used by the fandom as convenience rather than the actual name.
but looking in the theme of Limbus characters taking on another's name. Sancho fully embracing and taking on the name Don Quixote after the events of Canto VII, Jia Huan taking on the name of his deceased little brother... and for those of you unaware, "Ryoshu" is an alternate reading of the name Yoshihide, directly from the wiki:
Ryōshū is an alternative reading of the name Yoshihide. The choice to render the name in Hangul as 료슈 instead of 요시히데 and have this reflected in the English romanization was a decision made by Project Moon's writers and directors through consultation with their Japanese translator.
In Canto VIII, this was revealed to be a purposeful decision on Ryōshū's part, who began going by a different rendering of the name Yoshihide.
... so, concept. if Yoshihide is Ryoshu's original name: the daughter being originally named Ryoshu as a pun on her mother's name, then Yoshihide taking on the name of her daughter after... whatever happened.

Where do you think they'll go with Ryoshus character in canto 9? Alot of people seem to fear they'll sanitize her to much which tbh I kinda get but I also feel there would be no reason to want to see her get "redeemed" or developed if shes to bad lol
Ryoshu will not be sanitized, do not fear. She will get Worse. After Yuzuki is trapped in the Hell Painting, Ryoshu becomes far more viscious and emphatic with her artpieces while at the same time more defensive and even clingy towards the Sinners.

Oh, it is horrific. Once Horikawa traps Yuzuki in the Hell Screen, Ryoshu lashes out intensely. There is even a boss fight with her, where she unsheathes her odachi. It will be an uphill battle to be sure.
If I were to make a comparison to fights already in Limbus Company, the Ryoshu battle in Canto 9 is the equivalent of the Lei Heng fight in Canto 8. It is made all the worse for the fact that she uses Gebura’s Sapling of Light ability against the sinners. I expect many people to clamor for the fight to be nerfed.
In Canto 9, it is revealed that Ryōshū's daughter is being kept at the Spider House because she owes them money for all the Robux she borrowed.
This is true. Ryoshu loved Roblox before they banned Schlep. In specific, she quite liked Pokemon: Brick Bronze, which is pretty based if you ask me.

Yuzuki does not die, but her fate is, in all honestly, worse than death. She, undying, burns alive in the carriage from the ending of the original Hell Screen as a part of a Ring exhibit.
